Summary.. Last week while killing time in my countries capital between job interviews I people watched and assessed my place in the SMP vs other males.

Body.. Was in major city in my country for a couple of interviews for a new job, had just over an hour to kill between interviews. Was situated right I'm the financial district a place I hadn't much experience before.

I'd plan to use the time reading, (interview prep done) and sat in a coffee shop right at the window. I began to people watch at first to look at the attractive ladies, but then I began to notice the plethora of guys walking past. My competition.

Being as I was dressed to impress, (suited and booted for the interviews) I noticed their clothes at first, was I better or worse dressed, then I started to rate my hair/facial hair against theirs. Finally I began figure out if I was in the top 20% of guys in this environment. Admittedly a highly competitive one. Truth be told I almost certainly wasn't, sure I looked good, carried myself well, cleaned up nice definitely top 33%, but the best of these guys had me outmatched. Taller, better looking, more buff, richer, better dressed. Which ever attribute, there was a cross section of people that has me pipped in various factors.

So how did this make me feel, disheartened, lose confidence, nope not even slightly. Thankfully I've a distinct advantage over most of the guys I encountered. They're still plugged in. Unconsciously they don't know the game that we're playing. No knowledge of the SMP, the way to be a man, don't practice running game, how to avoid becoming a BB, pedestaling the female on their life. (Save for a few naturals)

I was also massively inspired by what I saw. This market place was definitely more competitive than I was used to. But I understand the way to improve personal SMV and catch up and overtake these guys. I noted the suits I liked, the swarms of poorly dressed, bad haircuts, the try hards, I learnt from the fashions I saw. Secondly, I was realistic about my physique, inspired to dial in the keto, drop those last 10 pounds, hit the PB's with the iron. Being in this RIch area, yep it helped me focus on my plan to attain wealth, no for the provision of anyone, but to get myself to the position of "fuck you" money.

Summary... That hour was a great eye opener and also led to some introspection. my two main takeaways where, that anyone who is in this subreddit is playing in a game against people who don't even realise they're in it for the most part and that is a distinct advantage. 2ndly, it was great to asses myself and remind myself of areas I need to improve in my own SMV, which are attainable for anyone.. I refocused on my plans to achieve and improve myself. So next time your out.. Stop take 5minutes and have a look around at the "competition" let them inspire you to improve, and be thankful of those unconscious ones your striding past. You'd better believed I hit the gym that night, browsed son shops after my interview.
