I disagree. SMV is an aggregate of factors including looks, frame, wealth, power, and rank.
An average looking but famous rock star has tremendous SMV. Same goes for a powerful yet average looking Senator. They walk into a room full of females at random ages and their SMV will be higher than Chad serving caviar to the same group. Every time. Constrain the female population in this example to prewall conditions, and the same holds true.
As a contrast, RMV reorders the success criteria of the above. It is not fundamentally different. Females will have different points of emphasis for pre-wall and post-wall conditions, but a male’s maxed out RMV and SMV are closer on the continuum than you allude to.

His "percentage of people of the opposite sex who are willing to have sex with you right now" definition is fine, but he softly implies that SMV is completely looks-based, especially without any description and the ode/cliché to lifting conclusion.
Generally, having a significant amount of one of the 'values' (Looks, or Status) and combining that value with wisdom or 'Game' (true game, not PUA fuckery) is sufficient to have high SMV.
High levels in all three are very rare, and generally superfluous. 'Status' does have a higher ceiling than 'Looks', so if you happen to have Chad Looks and Game, and have a rare opportunity to obtain high-Status, I wouldn't disregard Status just because your hero mental_models said "2/3 were sufficient" in an internet post...
