escorts destabalize civil society, if a mans money is not going to his household/wife and instead to the pocket of an escort, and the escort spends it mostly on drugs fueling criminal gangs then you have:

lack of cash flowing in the wider economy, ie on house hold items and womens things, childs/family things, holidays, travel etc.
uncollected tax from the escort and gangs, no money flowing back in to public services, creating a short fall and raising taxes
crime created by increased gang presence straining law services, and detracting from people getting a good standard level of education in the community going in to worthy professions ie doctors/nurses, dentists etc.
more single mothers who live on welfare. taking money out of the system that the next generation of men & women have to pay ever increasingly in to, and to an older age by the time they retire.

Women not giving their man fullfilling sex in relationships or marriages have to realise they are responsible for losing their man and his income, and destablising the whole of society.

Prostitution is outlawed because of christianity/catholism imo. Sexuality had to be controlled and religion did it. Once the society secularizes and the church is dethroned, as it is in the process of being, it'll be legalized.

The main obstruction if it has to pass by vote in the US is women. Women seek to control access to pussy and they make up a huge voting block. I don't see how any of it is any different than traditional courtship where the man pays for the date, or a marriage where the man is the breadwinner. Across the animal kingdom, males pay for sex some way or another. Biology even has a concept known as the nuptial gift, which is a literal payment for sex. The fact is that women are the gatekeepers of sex, and it's their biological imperative to use it to try to secure resources either acutely ('prostitution' or other transactional sex) or in perpetuity ('commitment'). Sex simply doesn't happen without the female extracting some kind of benefit or payment, even if that's as simple as trying to get a piece of a man's social status.

I think Governments see escorts as a threat to the "family". It makes sense too. Why as a man, especially at 18, care to go through all the shit (game, etc.) just to get laid, when all you have to do is be an earner?

In Canada, prostitution has always been legal. However, they had laws in place to prevent it from being a commercial activity. Not so long ago a hooker made a successful constitutional challenge and now pimps and brothels are legal as well.

In North America, if you are going to pay for play then why not have a video of it?

I haven't gone down that road but the suspension of disbelief about "escorts" is that you pay them for their time and any sex that happens is just a side effect.

There are two problems with prostitution.

First, in he past it promoted sexual disease. That's still a concern but a bit less so than in the past.

Second, it tends to work against stable family relationships because men can go fuck whomever and don't need to stick to their wife. In fact why have a wife? So then we don't have children, or marriages break up, and society goes to shit. Of course, other social Marxist pushes for feminism, women's vote, women working, free love, porn, etc, managed to do the same job without prostitution anyway.

So it's not bad in and of itself. It's bad because it destroys our civilization. If you care about hat sort of thing.... Others just want to enjoy the decline. I don't begrudge them that. It's not clear at all whether western civilization can even be saved or how.
