Some videos of this youtube channel called 'FACEandLMS'

and the top of all time post on here

The youtube channel basically compares alpha and beta facial features, concluding that looks are everything and you shouldn't even try if you look beta / you're straight up ugly.

Admittedly, they almost delve into eugenics by analyzing jawlines for several minutes, but that's the gist.

While the reddit post says the exact opposite: 'It doesn't matter if you're ugly as long as your frame is greater than the woman's'

What I also found interesting is the youtube channel in question also raised this piece of information:

"Women say they don't care about looks as much and also pay attention to a guy's personality, yet (studies showed) they infact behave exactly like men, sorting their partners out by looks alone"

Furthermore I also stumbled upon a post on a website called theplacetorant or something, where some woman said something along the lines of 'I feel repulsed if ugly guys approach me, they shouldn't talk to their genetical superiors'

I'm slightly confused. During the years I switched between the camps of 'I should just kill myself if I'm ugly' to 'confidence is key'.

What is the most accepted view? 'Looks are everything, don't even try if you're ugly' or 'personality is everything'? I took the latter as the blue pill way of thinking.

Please enlighten me if you can.
