I've definitely noticed this. My parents encourage me to work hard and be successful (which I'm grateful for), whereas for my sister it's okay because she can just "marry a wealthy man."

many 'red pill truths' are actually just common sense in many conservative societies. The social dynamic in Chinese, Indian and most Asian families is based on them.

Yet the great dichotomy that I don't understand is how come the males from these societies are disproportionately beta? I don't get it..

Wow that’s pretty fucked. You’d hope the red pill didn’t apply so harshly within immediate family dynamics. I frankly don’t think my parents and siblings and grandparents operate like this.

I think this is way simpler than you think. Your auntie A is just a spoil brat. She's the first kid.

And even though in ideal world all kids would get the same love from parents, in reality parents still have their preferred (more loved) child and the rest get the shaft.

I see the same in my family. Though in my family the youngest auntie gets the most love from my grandma.

I don't know how conscious of a choice it is, but it seems that parents just pick one kid that they will "invest" in and give everything they have to him, no matter the actual success of that kid or general logic of the choice.
