Wow, I don't even know where to begin with that.

Dude's been through some shit, at the hands of women. That sucks, bad, and can fuck with a brain super hard. He's going to be dealing with that for most of his life, especially with the mindset and support group he has now. I seriously have to wonder, with the confusing and contradictory crap he's feeling and being exposed to, just how healthy his treatment is.

"They taught me to welcome a touch instead of fearing it." - After that kind of shit, I think some trepidation is warranted. I don't see anyone here telling him to fear it or hate all women; the message I'd want to send instead is that HE can, does, should, and will control touching on his terms. No one touches him in ways he doesn't like, and he has the ability to stop any and all touching. HE can decide what happens to him if he so chooses. He needs that control back in his own life, and I don't hear it in his post.

"They taught me to embrace my sexuality instead of trying to kill myself." - WTF would ever tell someone like that to kill themselves? All I've ever heard from TRP is examinations of reality, and encouragement for people to do what is best for them once armed with that knowledge.

"They tried to teach me to hate women." - Hate those women that have been fucking you over, raping, and manipulating you, by your own account? Uh, yeah, go nuts, they've earned it. Hate all women? Not even close. But any man or woman who treat you in this way, yeah, hate away.

What's worse is seeing the beta mindset in the guy. He has a history of letting women use/abuse him. His treatment for this past includes a massive IV of blue pill thinking, allowing the cycle to continue. Frankly, I feel bad for the guy, knowing it is within his power to completely 180 the direction his life is heading.

I don't think this makes him a "perfect candidate to be a men's rights activist". Quite the opposite, I think it makes him a good candidate to be a feminist, and everything he says pretty much supports that. I do not consider myself an MRA, but I think this guy is very confused; he seems to want something that is identical to feminism, but for men. Maybe MRA falls into that, but I don't think it's their purpose, and I don't think it suits them.

Feminism is all about wallowing in the identity of "victim" and seeing every tiny action of everyone else as abuse directed against you personally. This man was abused, and that is tragic, but MRA is going to be impotent as long as it is a movement about crying over what a victim you are.

I think he should do what he has to in order to move beyond his pain, but he is far from "the perfect candidate to be men's rights activist."

Raped multiple times by women? I realize that male rape is a real thing and all, but this guy sounds like a fucking basket case. Actually, he sounds like he lacks any and all masculinity, so he was forced to make rationalizations that allowed him to conceed to the feminist movement in some pathetic attempt at gaining pity sex. A perfect example of the type of mangina that feminists have been exploiting to gain public favor and popular opinion since their inception.
