I mean it gives idiots fodder. There are people in that thread that call everyone in the sub rape apologists, or saying that everyone here rapes their wives. Of course they are wrong, but every second week a comment like that arises here which is all outsiders can ever see since that is all that is presented to them.

Now, how other people see the subreddit doesn't affect the message, however my concern is that if the subreddit is painted as a misogynistic place for frustrated men that hate women then that is what it will attract.

I've never understood this line of reasoning. If the majority of the reading public prefers the intellectual equivalent of Sunday School, they have more than enough friends in the MSM to keep them feeling that way for all eternity.
