For a really short an simple answer about the differences between mainstream game, and TRP game.

I'd say mainstream game pushes the idea that you can learn techniques to improve your sex life.

Whereas TRP game is more about becoming a real man, and focussing on your masculinity to become the man you want to be, and then reaping the rewards of mother nature and female biomechanics - chicks dig manly dudes. Game is more of a side effect than a focus I'd say...

The mystery method could be called the origins of the PUA community. Most PUA base their teachings on him. Hell, most PUA gurus are actually direct disciples of Mystery himself. If you want to learn seduction, he is the absolutely first thing you should study. Of course, a lot of people think his ideas are antiquated and they don't work, but still, the most basic core things you need to learn are within his teachings.

TRP deals more with the so called "inner game". It's not so much about getting girls to like you as it is about getting yourself to like you (which will automatically make girls more attracted to you, but that's just a side effect). Start seeing bullshit that people say and deal with it appropiately. Stop with the ridiculous notion of "being a man is only something douchebags think about". There's a thin line between being a man and being a douchebag, sure, but TRP will help you stay on the good side of that line. Know that men and women are, in fact, different, and have different needs, and know how to fulfill those needs, both yours and the ones of the girl you are with. These are TRP's basic principles.

Contrary to popular belief in reddit, it's not about being a bitter little neckbeard who complains about how women are evil. Women that know what the fuck is going on in their brain are very much respected and praised over here. The confused, gullible and easy to rely on emotion to dictate their moral compass women are the ones that you have to watch out for and the ones TRP constantly calls out. I don't like to use terms like bitch or whore, as I find it's offensive towards actual profesional sex workers to be compared with these dumbasses, but yeah, you will see these words A LOT in this subreddit. Do not be mistaken, it's not misoginy, "blue pill" men get as bad of a beating as women do.

If you are a PUA, you don't care what random girl you end up with, because your main objective is to get laid. If you have the TRP mentality, you DO care about what girl you are with, as you don't want to end up with a dumbass that will ruin your life. But the most important person in your life is you, and only you. Yes, there's a lot of narcisism here too. Take it however you want, but you don't get to lead the life you want or be with the woman you want if you don't love yourself first.

Of course, studying the PUA methods is the easiest way to meet and get to know more girls, thus increasing your chances of finding the right one, so there's a lot of overlapping between this community and the PUA one, but know that while there's a lot overlapping, they are very different and they deal with different things.

Like in every community, some are more extreme than the others, even if being part of TRP itself is already leaning towards the extreme (that's what happens with reactionary movements, they tend to be very pasionate about their beliefs). Some will claim that being alpha, independent from women and going your own way is the only true good form of life, while others advocate a more moderate view while still maintaining the "stop giving a shit about how women see you and man up" principles. Where you fall in this scale is up to you.

hi, i'm kind of new. but i'll try to answer to the best of my ability

i think game in regards to TRP is like an accessory to something you own. so far i've felt that TRP is mostly about having a certain mentality. embracing masculinity, not being 'womanipulated' -- if you will.

i feel like Game/PUA is kind of short term. its specifically for getting laid.

but TRP can change you in many different areas, not just with women. being successful with women is a byproduct of TRP in my opinion.

i'm kind of tired so i hope this makes sense

edit: you can learn A LOT from TRP and it doesn't mean you should be disrespectful towards a woman who hasn't mistreated you in any way. remember that you can be a man without being a douche.

edit 2: embracing a specific mentality -MANtality! will definitely project without you having to rant about it. thinking "i am a man and i define who i am" will benefit you.

tl;dr don't be a fucking pussy bro, do what you want as long as people aren't hurt in the process. there will always be critics and cynics but if you're wielding positive results then fucking run through punches, return the punches and keep doing what you want.

Game is fine. The older the better in my opinion (although you will have to adjust some of the older strategies to make them work). Just don't get caught in the bullshit that exists in /r/seduction, where all the guys are looking for a magic bullet to help them get a girlfriend. Just remember, confidence is key, and no supplicating to women.
