I've seen so many of my mates and other guys approaching girls for the first; they obsess about how women have rejected them. When I actually dig a little deeper, I realise these guys aren't actually getting rejected. These girls will say: "I have a boyfriend".

Guys are twisting a girl that isn't available into: "I got rejected" or worse "girls aren't attracted to me" . I've told this to so many guys I've gone approaching with: YOU didn't get rejected, she's just rejecting your offer. There could be a million reasons why the girl you approach won't give you her number, or go on a date and have sex with you. A lot of these reasons could be completely unrelated to you.

You could be the most attractive guy imaginable, you could have said all the right things and she might still say no, because it's a no to sex, not to you, the guy, the person. When you hit on a girl and offer to grab a drink together, sex is implied. Just a few possible reasons she is saying no to sex could be because she has a boyfriend, just got out of a breakup, was on her period, is having a bad day. The reason doesn't really matter.

I'm not just arguing semantics. The point I'm making is that the narrative you tell yourself makes all the difference. Hitting on girls being a torturous nightmare of endless rejection or a fun thing that you do when you're out. The key is to stop taking no's to heart.

You will make yourself miserable if you keep telling yourself you're getting rejected, because you will need to play the numbers game, which means girls will say no. Again, they're not saying no to YOU, they are saying no to the offer of sex or a date with you. There is a big difference. A genuine rejection (when a girl is saying no to YOU) is when a girl says something like: Sorry, 'I'm not attracted to you, you're not my type'.

To prove my point I ran an experiment in the past where rather than 'hitting on' a girl, I make up a story about how I'm new to the area and looking for friends. 9 times out of 10 they said yes. They said yes because the offer was different. It had very little to do with the person making the offer.

If you focus on rejection, you'll never keep getting out there because you will make yourself miserable. Stop focusing on the no's, IMMEDIATELY move on and find the next girl to hit on. Look for the next yes.
If this resonates, I talk about this way more in a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYb07ekaAHg
