Intro: I've been a reader for a while, but always felt TRP was a bit of a guilty pleasure so I've only ever upvoted and downvoted.

I'm 6', 180lbs, and 31yo. I've never had a particularly challenging time getting girls, but TRP has made it significantly easier and more fun. So here's my recent story from the frontline. My purpose here is to show that TRP doesn't have to be all game and rules and fuck-hunting; understanding women can actually just help you in normal situations. Here's a softer example of using TRP principles.

The Setup: I just started seeing a girl casually, like, last week. She's a nice girl, gorgeous, and fun. There's an ugly sweater pub crawl in town and I thought she'd be fun to invite. I sent her an image of the poster and asked "I'm going, you in?" Her response was, "I don't think I have an ugly sweater, I don't know what I'm doing that day. I'll let you know."

The Red Pill Response: Now, not all TRPers are going to like this bit, but the fact that she doesn't own an ugly sweater was a barrier to making this work (and be fun). So I needed to remove that barrier or otherwise make other plans.

I texted back: "Let's get you an ugly sweater; my treat. Wednesday or Thursday?"

My goal with the response was to give the illusion of choice while guiding the situation in the direction I wanted; the options aren't "yes or no" they're "Wednesday or Thursday". I know TRPers will give me crap for offering to buy her a sweater, but I'm not going to justify it to any you. My money, my choice.

Can you guess her response? "I don't know which day I'm free yet, I'll get back to you, okay?"

I waited about a day. Then, without pretense, dropped this back at her: "I'll pick you up Wednesday at 6:00. If you're hungry we'll eat at the Texas Roadhouse, I like their ribeye."

Can you guess her response? "Hey! Okay!"

The Subtle Victory: In addition to getting her to agree to get an ugly sweater, this is an implied victory for the pub crawl, too. You can't tell from just these few lines here, but the follow-up conversation confirmed it. Essentially: "Since I'm taking you to get a sweater you can't flake on the pub crawl." "Oh, I know! I would never!"

Closing Thought: When you read this, the short abrupt messages I'm sending make it look like I'm "trying to alpha super hard" but it's not like that at all. Our conversations are casual and fun. But when the moment comes to move beyond a decision point a clear and concise message is exactly what's needed. Honestly, I think she appreciates it.

I did "the count" once and I've been, uh... with... over 30 girls. I don't recall a single one of them being turned on by being "empowered". Even the ones that sit there and tell you "I really like feeling in control of a situation" are just begging for structure and boundaries. Give it to them. If they resent you for it, that's on them, not you.

This is a pretty soft Red Pill example, but with the constant focus on the "hard and pure" stuff, maybe this will serve as reminder that the core principles are essentially always in play.

Bonus Tip: When opening a dialog with a girl (i.e. first date stuff), try to find a way to add in the fact that "it's weird when I see girls driving guys around, I don't know why, but it feels backwards, right?" I've literally never heard a girl say "no, girls driving guys around is totally normal, you're weird for saying that." Every girl agrees. I always feel like that little exchange where she's agreeing, subtly, that girls are the copilots of men sets the proper mood for a continuing discussion.

Bonus Tip 2: Never use the words "woman" or "women" around girls. Just my two cents on that one.
