The main mission in life is to reproduce, and female experience of existence must be entirely different from our own. Women must expend considerable resource in ovulating, with daily reality dependent on the stage of their cycle, and the positive feedback effect of hormones on their neuroendocrine system. But, is it all that it seems in terms of power dynamics? The bottom line is that, courtesy of testosterone, we are going to be stronger, more adventurous, more risk-taking, indefatigable workhorses for women. Basically, the process removes singlet oxygen, a toxin which would kill you, and the oxygen ends up in Ring A of testosterone or oestrogen. Oestrogen, being a phenol, is much more thermodynamically stable. That's why it's used to program us. Women end up getting their own way.
