For better or for worse, the world is changing, and we are a part of that change. There is no going back to the way thing were before. One way or another our momentum will carry us forward. There are two paths that we might take: one leads to success, the other leads to failure. It is the first path that I would like, but it is the second I fear we are on.

The way of the tribe is an inevitability. Men will embrace it either out of opportunity or necessity. Solitary men will not survive in the age of fourth wave feminism. If my only concern in writing this was the establishment of tribes, I could save myself the effort and let time handle the matter. Only, there is no promise that those tribes would be healthy. There is no promise that those future men would not live broken lives.

For any tribe to function, its members need common purpose, trust, and loyalty. We have a clear and strong purpose. We are united by a need to live our lives outside the oppression of today’s culture. We congregate together to share thoughts and ideas deemed dangerous by the masses. What we sorely lack is trust and loyalty.

Keeping our participation here insulated from our real identities is a necessity. One need only consider the doxing of an alleged founder to see why. Isolated by anonymity we may be safe from attack but we are also cut off from one another. We have built no trust with one another because we are afraid. Disengagement is the effect desired by those who outed PK_Athiest. They would like to see the rest of us too scared to continue on in his tracks, and to a large extent they have been successful.

We have allowed one of our own to be stripped down. You had no obligation to help. The man took his own risks and has to face the consequences of his own actions. It would be foolish to expect any different from this community. We have no loyalty to one another. The world is safe in knowing that they may attack us without reprisal.

I ask only this: if you feel so little compulsion to defend your fellow man, how long do you think it will be until there are no men left to defend? You are here because this community opened your eyes to the world as it really is. You are better for this place having existed. There is no promise that it will remain indefinitely. From where I sit I can already see us receding into the history of the internet. Unless we commit to one another and undertake the momentous task placed before us, the RedPill will be just another entry on KnowYourMeme.
