how would you describe your perfect woman?

This is a nice exercise, but that's a dangerous mentality. TRP is very much about embracing reality and losing your idealism. Reality is there isn't a perfect woman, so there's no use wasting your time imagining her. Now you can use this exercise to define your standards and boundaries, but that's about it.

How does she react to you when you're angry or thrilled or tired?

To me it doesn't really matter how she reacts, as long as it's not disdain or boredom. I don't look to others to see how they react to my emotions.

The perfect woman would be a best friend that you can depend on to always be uplifting when your down, take your advice and apply it carefully when you give it to her, understands that her emotions will get the best of her sometimes and either control them on the spot or sincerely apologize after, will share the workload around them regardless of situation, and will always feel that they need to be an equal partner in love, commitment and entertainment. Also, bonus backrubs, morning bj's, and will accept whatever you give to them by giving something in return.

Basically, this will never happen.

Ah, the dream.

It does happen.

But, when it does happen, you have to accept that it isn't permanent.

The only hard and fast "demands" I make on any woman are fidelity, respect, and sex. The woman I married only gives me one of those.

The perfect woman is a woman where you don't have to ask for shit you shouldn't have to ask for. You should never have to ask a woman, "Please don't cuss me out in front of our two-year-old daughter over an extremely trivial oversight."

  1. As honest as i am to her, it would be unfair to expect more

  2. GENUINELY nice/well mannered

  3. At least good looking enough for me to be sexually interested in her because sex is important and to show me she clearly takes care of herself physically.

  4. Equal partnership with household responsibilities and an interest in those domestic responsibilities cooking/cleaning/helping with kids etc. as I would be.

  5. Maybe at least some common interests, but honestly not that necessary, top 4 are most important. It'd pointless if you have everything in common and she is a terrible person in general and to you.

We can each describe our own versions of a perfect woman, but RP men would unanimously agree that she doesn't exist.

She's a petite thing, no taller than 5'4", with a firm body that looks sexy in anything from yoga pants & a tee shirt to a summer dress. She has no chronic medical issues and is not habitually medicated. She knows her own mind, as much as a woman can, and doesn't hesitate to ask for guidance in sorting through her emotions. She is generous and kindhearted with her loved ones, and has a few close female friendships she takes care to maintain. She may have some male friends, but wouldn't consider any of them 'close' friendships.

She is industrious with her time at home, keeping every room well-cleaned and free of unnecessary clutter. She has very little in the way of collectible items, preferring to decorate her abode with items of personal meaning or particular aesthetic value. Her bookshelf is full with subjects that interest her, and stories that make her heart and imagination swell. Her kitchen is spotless and well-organized.

She takes pride in a meal well-prepared, and enjoys experimenting with multiple culinary styles. She is generally busy helping her mother, aunts, and other female relatives during holidays - they all enjoy preparing the traditional family meal while catching up with one another. When it comes time to trade gifts, hers are tastefully wrapped, small, and hold some personal significance to everyone who receives them. She is kind but firm toward her sisters' or cousins' children.

She has had far fewer sexual partners than other women of an age with her, and she has never had a one night stand. She's wished the men of her previous relationships had taken the lead a bit more, rather than catering to her desires; she never quite understood why, but she felt smothered when they did this. She rarely goes out at night with her female friends, preferring to chat with them over lunch or joint shopping trips.

She has never had, but always longed for a fireplace in her home; she imagines herself curled up on a rug beneath the hearth, reading or simply enjoying a calm winter's night. Other times, she imagines a man tending the fire, while she sets the table and hums contentedly to herself.

I like Dan Savage's ideas of having only 5 must-haves and 5 deal-breakers. These are only for long-term partners and have nothing to do with short-term flings. Mine are:

Must-haves

  • Pretty
  • Intelligent
  • Sense of humor
  • Family-oriented
  • Confident, but submissive

Deal-breakers:

  • Substance abuse
  • Disrespectful to strangers
  • Unsupportive of my career
  • Unwillingness to get along with my family
  • Doesn't want kids

I consider things like honesty, consistent sex & fidelity as implied in any long-term relationship and nothing special to value.

Wow, paranoid much? What made you think that?

I was curious because I kind of want someone who is a little immature and impetuous and I wanted to see if I was alone. Maybe I am. I think trying to find a partner who is as mature or rational as you is a lost cause, and it makes more sense to be the dominant one to a girl who acts like a child, because that is 90% of the female population.

If push came to shove, I would take an odebdient slut though, hahaa
