He was a 16 year old kid, the odds that he would be able to pass a shit test at that age would be unlikely.

He was a a naive, barely-pubescent kid, whose raging hormones and unattractiveness contributed to a terrible end for some beta husband.

He murdered someone. 15 or not, he took someone's life instead of his own. Even if he doesn't have the common sense to realize he is being manipulated, he should know that his actions have consequences, especially if he was to decide on KILLING someone.

Yeah mostly, I doubt there was signs of him torturing animals or being overtly abusive. An adult got inside a childs head. And I stand by my reason morally grey or not. He is a kid. That's why we legally call them that, and have different rules for offences.
