Be me, beta chump. I have a really hot highschool classmate.

Had a mega crush on her for a few years; I kept having relationships on the side during that time but in the back of my mind I wanted her; I got to fuck her a few times eventually and ended up realizing she has really good genes but that's kinda where it all ends (a fair number of bad choices on her side, laziness, etc.).

Back in my highschool days (some time around 8 years ago), I was chasing her like a chump and she kept me around because I was smart and I would solve whatever thought problems she had (difficulty with people/ situations/ school/ etc.). I ended up meeting her boyfriend at the time: a "cool" guy that was 24-26 (me and her were 16-18). He made money in various ways, he was cool, he liked being cool and he wanted you to know how cool and superior he is. After talking to him several times, he eventually grew somewhat fond of me and told me what he's been using on her: he kept going "on and off". Either he'd cheat on her and disappear for 2-3 days off the radar; or he'd bring flowers and hand around with her the whole night; or she'd introduce him to one of her friends and find out 2-3 days later that he fucked her; etc. The guy always kept frame and even when she'd confront him over the cheats he'd just smile and say "ok, so?".

This is basically what you call push-pull. But the classical push-pull that I've been reading about here was the interest type of push-pull (aka: giving her your attention and then redirecting it again); this is more of an emotional play (give her attention and positive emotions, then take them away and replace with negative ones).

Fast forward to today: since discovering TRP and testing it, I somehow managed to remember the above story and decided to apply it. My current girlfriend got flowers, some sweets, we watched a movie, I told her she's beautiful, we slept together, etc etc. You get it, the works!

The day before yesterday we establish that we meet tomorrow around 4. Yesterday comes and I decide it's time to go low. At 2:30 she calls me under the pretext to ask me if there's a specific ATM in my area because she needs to withdraw some money. I say that probably not and tell her something around the lines "ok, talk to you later.". We hang up and I remain low. The day ends and she texts me on Whatsapp "Hey, you still alive? :)" at around 11:45. I click on the conversation (I explicitly want her to know that I saw her text), wait a few seconds and close it. Mute the ringtone and off to bed with me.

Wake up the next day, look at phone and i got 2 missed calls from her at 12:44 and 12:45. (this means that she saw a problem and wanted to figure it out; good, I got her attention!)

I know that "you don't shit where you eat" but she's a co-worker and I decided to go for it since it would be interesting to see if I can steer things correctly given the fact that we work in the same room and we're also face to face (our monitors are literally back to back). Too much time together ruins relationships and relationships at the workplace tend to be a big "no-no"; but hey, I like challenges!

She usually comes in at around 8. Today she came at around 9 (-> she slept late -> let's give myself a bone and presume that it's because she's trying to figure out what's going on).

Eventually I engage on some small chit-chat. Usually she doesn't pay much attention to what I say and she forgets things. 3-4 days ago I told her I'd plan something fun for us for today/ tomorrow but it'd require her to be in jeans. Today she came in a skirt. I told her that tomorrow she must come in jeans so that we'd do that thing. She told me we can do it today because she brought pants with her. (she actually remembered what we planned a few days ago -> nice!) A few minutes of silence pass and: H(her): If I ask you what was up yesterday, will you tell me? M(me): Why are you asking me this? H: Can't I ask? M: Lemme reformulate: why are you asking in this manner? H: Ok, let's shift it. What happened yesterday? M: What happened? -in a very curious manner- H: Ok, maybe I'm crazy. Nothing happened. M: Tell me. H: Nah, it's ok. If I'll tell you, I'll tell you face to face. M: Ok, we can meet tomorrow. H: great -she said it in English and English is not our native language -> seemed sad to me- M: ? H: What?

Conversation done over the internal chat. At this point I didn't answer her since I want more tension to build up. I will eventually meet with her today briefly (5 minutes in a secluded office or something) and she will probably confront me on my disappearance. I will tell her "I wasn't in the mood for you yesterday.". If she asks if I'm in the mood for her today I'll say that I'm in the mood just for those 5 minutes.

SUMMARY: emotional push-pull gets girlfriend to actually pay attention, gets her worried, gets her more interested in what happened/ what's happening.
