I just listened to this Economic Rockstar Podcast #17: Marina Adshade on Understanding Economics the Sexy and 'Hard' Way and it's absolutely fascinating. She's a female professor and has done her own share of hamstering, but she brought up a lot of interesting ideas. I don't know if I agree with all that she said, but there is A LOT of room in this field for discussion and she has brought up quite a few Red Pill Truths, and I hope this area of study gets bigger in academic economics.

If you want to analyze everything she has said, then you could probably write a whole book on it, and she actually has a book on this, Dollar and Sex. I plan on picking up a copy.

One particularly interesting idea she mentioned is that usually people think of men as the demanders and women as the suppliers, but that's becoming increasingly untrue as women's earnings increase. Both men and women are actually in effect selling bundles of micro-goods for each little specific trait that each individual has, and they are trying to match with someone who wants to buy them and is also selling what they are looking for at the same time. This creates extremely complicated dynamics not seen in other markets. Since you can't liquidize your own assets in the sexual market place, you're basically in an extremely complicated bartering system.

This got me thinking. As Red Pillers, we are trying to establish men as the suppliers rather than the consumers, and with our view of abundance, we are consciously decreasing the price of women in our own minds and shifting our demand curve of women to the left. This is especially true for MGTOWs who try to increase their own price while decreasing their own availability to women.

When MGTOWs take themselves out of the market, there is excess demand for men by women that is not met. Therefore, these women will shift their attention away from MGTOWs and enter other male markets, slightly increasing demand in all other Male Sexual Markets. This creates a slightly higher price of all men.

This is the amazing thing about Red Pill. When you're being "selfish" trying to improve your own SMV, you're actually driving up the price of all men and making all men better off. This is a positive externality despite the amoral nature of TRP. The Bonus is that the more MGTOWs there are, the more women there will be in the Sexual Market for the rest of us and the lower their price will be.
