I subscribe to r/Meditation. Since swallowing the pill and learning about the importance of self-development, I decided to incorporate this into my life (in addition to working out, cutting out the weed, cigarettes, PMO gaming and all that other BS from my life). I can honestly say it's helped me to become a more centered individual. There's an almost transcendental clarity that comes with meditation, that I find I just can't get from anything else.

Anyway being a member of that sub, I obviously get posts from it on my feed. This one post came up today that caught my eye. When I first read the title I thought the OP was talking about our Red Pill, and I was immediately intrigued. A reddit user posting about TRP in another sub? Was he just fishing for abuse? Then I read the post and it was something completely different (still quite interesting though).

What caught my eye though was the comments. Even though the topic had nothing to do with TRP, people still saw the need to 'bash' us. I say 'bash' because what they did was anything but. One user - /u/delleh - actually tried to stand up for TRP. You can guess what happened next. Downvoting, throwing the ol' "TRP hates women" argument, and generally saying shit about us that isn't true.

I'm not gonna lie, reading those comments made me indignant at first. But then I remembered, most of these people, despite being on a sub about meditation, are extremely close minded. In that post for example, the OP was referring to transcedental state one normally assumes after ego death. However most of the comments there were making fun of him, ridiculing him, making him out to seem like a fool. Now the OP may have been out there, but some of what he was saying was very real and relevant. OP may have been way out there, but in no way was he a fool.

No the truth is that they're the fools. They're fools because despite their so-called attempts at self-betterment, most of them are ,and will probably always be, stuck in their sorry excuses for lives. We on the other hand are privileged because of we've swallowed the pill - and they hate us for that. They hate us because deep down in the depth of they're subconscious, they know that we're better than them. But they'll never admit it. And because of that they'll never grow.

I'll admit thinking about that took away all my feelings of indignation. I won't say it made me feel good or superior in any way - I know I have a long way to go to get where I want to be. But it made me realize why they hate us. They hate us because they aint us.
