TL/DR: Why you need to be the best you and how to. And a field report; a deeper look into approach and the things that surround it.

FYI: hopefully you don't consider this bragging, I have many weaknesses, just as many as someone else. It is relative to the person and that is the major point I am trying to get across; to stop using the things you lack as excuses to not max out on your strengths.

Introduction:

Day game is amazing. It leaves your target confused. They went out expecting to finish a task, not to give their number to a stranger like she might be expecting to at a bar/club/etc. The confusion allows for an easier window of opportunity and does so with her shield down and she is unprepared.

I was on a means of public transportation today, and my ride was more than a couple hours. Upon entering the means, I scoped the area out. I am not from this place, and I keep my eyes open constantly and stay very aware; and not only for women, but for threats as well (terrorism, etc.).

Once I looked around, a solid 8 stuck in my mind. I didn't keep my eyes on her or take a second look, (many times people can see when you do this, peripherally.) I only glanced over at her whilst walking on. I didn't want her to know I had potential interest in making her a target, not yet anyway.

I situated myself across from her, there was a seat open. I didn't look at her again, I kept tight frame and gave away no signs that I was interested. This is important, and noticeable by others in many situations; body language gives away much and all humans are at least somewhat "emotionally intelligent." The touching of the face, the looking up and past, but not directly towards, and all of these are great tells to the aware.

Body:

Many times I think I will pick up on these things when others are trying to do it. Almost as if they change into something else, as if they're adjusting their mask (figuratively speaking of the ego.). And these signs are noticeable to me, because I used to do these things and I look out for them now. What started as subconscious observation, has evolved into analysis. It's almost as if I would get invisible lat syndrome and start poking my chest out, just to appear more jacked. Now I notice other guys doing this constantly. Shifting and adjusting, especially when women or someone more jacked is around. And when your body language starts off on this rampage and you're unaware, it's showing others what you're feeling and thinking. And many people can pick up on this, even at a subconscious level.

Joe Navarro, as most of you probably already know, has a book called "What Every Body is Saying," and he covers much of this in depth. But, we don't need Joe to point out what I just did, we encounter it daily and most likely have caught ourselves doing the same and subconsciously noticed these things long before TRP.

Once you start to practice this and notice your posture, how you're reacting, whether your walking with your chin too high up, or you're walking too fast, you can work to correct these things relatively quickly, and almost always right there on the spot. I doubt most people have any issue with this, but I don't know how many of you work to analyze yourself. I don't know how many of you use self awareness to encounter and come to know who you are and how you act in situations.

Point 1:

Strike hard and fast, or make it near impossible for the victim to know you are going to strike later. It makes you seem not only awkward, but allows for self doubt to come into play... unless of course you're sure this is not a problem. If it is, just go in as soon as you see the target so you don't hesitate.

Once I was situated, I became ever so calm. I didn't close my eyes, but I focused on my breathing and relaxed myself immensely, just like I always do. This calm and collected center is extremely important. It helps you not only remove jitters and the anxiety situated around approach, but it also helps you to feel good, to feel smooth before an approach.

I am able to hold a smile almost an entire conversation after this, and not a fake one either. Does this happen when I don't reach this "chi" before opening the conversation? Sometimes. The difference is, I know I will if I get the chance to do this. It isn't necessary, but I find it to very beneficial.

Point 2:

Opening relaxed takes away from feeling like a death has just occurred or a fire has just started. It takes off the edge and helps you to shed nervousness or lack of confidence. It takes away the rushing for her number aspect, and adds to the attractiveness instead.

When you do open, it doesn't matter what it is about. However, it does matter how it is said, and what the intentions are behind saying it. "Where's the bathroom," is much less of a desirable opener than, "there is no way this thing has a bathroom, they have the worlds oldest so and so. Really though, is there?" Both aren't ideal lines, but in my second one, I've actually started somewhat of a conversation that I can use as a jumping board.

Point 3:

Make your intentions clear. It doesn't mean you have to walk up and say, "my intention is to rail you doggy on camera, whilst eating a banana." It does mean to make the ice breaker in a way that it tells something about who you are. I do not mean that you should throw in interesting facts about yourself like where you were born, I mean that you need to convey part of who you are and why you're opening your mouth to this person you plan to speak with.

When you do open your mouth, do so clearly and concisely. Do not do so in a nervous manor. Embarrassing as it was at the time, I have more than once. On one occasion, she was a solid 9 and I was almost whispering because I was making a joke about the girl ahead of her (dumb.), and she kept asking, "what? I can't hear you. What?" Until I said never mind because you could tell I was losing my balance and didn't feel on top of my game. That in itself was much more embarrassing then if I had opened my mouth correctly with; intention, desire, and calmness, and then got denied.

Regrets suck, so always open. But, do it in a way, a way that fits you and is calm, confident, and collected. This will be sure to draw her attention and make for a much smoother conversation.

Point 4:

Once you do open this way, watch her reaction to what you've said, and turn up the desire volume based upon it. If she is answering to be nice and giving you direct answers to whatever it is that you're asking, then she is ignoring you, turn it up and do it fast and don't hesitate. Just because she is ignoring or keeping a wall up, does not mean she can't be hooked. It means that you've got to push to get her hooked. If she is talking or opens the next sentence after your first sentence, or continues to look at you afterwards, stay the same or turn it slightly down, she might already be "curious." This is push and pull in the beginning stages. It starts to show desire and interest without neediness.

And when she opens the next sentence, instead of just quickly answering your question and dismissing you, prepare. Prepare to have been good looking for whatever extent of time it took to get to that point. Prepare to be working towards better looking in the future than you are now, because nothing trumps looks when it comes to cold approaching. Even if you are interesting, it is second to looks. Prepare to raise or have been raising your SMV in the looks department so this doesn't remain an issue for you. (Here I reference looks to include factors you can change, and those you cannot. Style, height, haircut, beard, clothing, fitness level, muscle mass, tan.)

But what about you that do not have the looks?

I am going to put it this way;

We all fall into some spectrum. The range is from 0 - 10. But, in a totally non intuitive sense, that spectrum does not have static identifiers for what level you are.

Let's think of it in terms of sports... in basketball, being tall does not mean you are the best player. It means that you are best suited for playing closer to the hoop so that you can dominate with your best trait. There are plenty of basketball players that fall on the short end (relatively speaking in terms of basketball.) who are amazing players. However, if you put these players in a position closer to the basketball hoop, they're going to get pushed around.

If you put the taller players in a position further from the hoop, they are going to get the ball stolen and not be fast enough to do what smaller, quicker, point guards are able to do.

So height is not directly related to skill in basketball, it is just a facet of the many skills that make up a basketball player.

I say these things from a point of view you might not be expecting, I am tall. I am actually what is considered perfect height, 6'2. Oh so the tall guy is going to say that short guys can still get girls as easily... yes, actually I am.

And I say this because I am lacking something that you have. We all have different traits, you just need to max out your abilities.

So I could be considered the same attractiveness as someone that is at the opposite end, 5'5. Maybe his facial features are amazing, maybe his voice is amazing, maybe he has a very desirable smile. There is something more attractive about him, then there is about me.

Now, here comes the truth;

We were all dealt a hand of cards at birth. Every single one of us. This is final, you can't change your cards, but you can make them work in your favor. You can present your cards and make them look their absolute best. This is where the work comes in. But in order to make them their absolute best, you must first accept that this is the case; that these cards are what they are, and that you have the ability to play them just as well as someone else. There is something that you can get better at. There is never a maximum to the spectrum, as it changes every time she has the potential to meet someone else; this is hypergamy.

The fact is; your number one priority is to accept this and not get hung up on it. You should not constantly talk about your height, it is not a changeable aspect of you life (unless we are talking lifters for your shoes or some weird knee surgery in South America.). You are stuck. And so the fuck what, so be it, be stuck.

What can you change? Well, this is obvious. But are you working to do this every single day? Do you accept and understand these things and work to fix what characteristics of your cards that you do have the ability to alter? This is what is important, this is what can power your mindset to move from a place of static unopened thinking, to acceptance and growth.

LESSONS LEARNED:

Own your weaknesses, or they will own you.

I won't tell you my weaknesses, that won't help either of us. But I will tell you that I have worked years to change the things about myself that I am able to alter, that I can make work in my favor. And today on that form of transportation, I didn't have to ask a second question or speak up much at all. Because after my first question about the bathroom, she quickly asked me quite a few. I didn't have to ask for her number, because after we spoke for 2 hours, she offered it to me.

And this is why I get up and go to the gym each day and work my hardest, I can change that. And this is why I am eating broccoli at dinner while my friends tell me to have some bread. This is why I work my absolute hardest where I can, because I have accepted what I cannot change about myself and realized what I can.

There are plenty of tall people that are ugly. That are stupid. That can't speak up. There are plenty of short people that are handsome. There are plenty of short and ugly people that carry charisma I could only dream to carry.
