I've had a similar encounter with a female. I didn't know she was intoxicated, I even asked her if she was drunk or on drugs, and edit: she said birth control she said no. Just a random one night stand. The next week I found out I was being accused of some sort of sexual assault. I never knew exactly what I was being accused of because I lawyered up as soon as police questioned me. Charges were never filed against me, thank god, but still, extremely traumatizing. The police took my fingerprints, DNA, and searched and photographed my car, where I had sex with the accuser the week before.

what pisses me off is that I would've been facing up to 20 years if charges were filed and there was a trial. I asked my attorney about getting her for filing a false report or even suing her for defamation, and he explained both would never happen.

If a girl accuses you of rape/sexual assault, those records are sealed and can never be used against her. Something about protecting the victim and victim's rights that was written into the law. Even if she's accused 5 people prior to accusing you, those prior accusations can never come out in court because those records are sealed. So basically, there's no repercussion to a false rape accusation, so there's no deterrent to prevent someone from doing it. A girl can make false rape accusations all year round, and ever single one of them has to be taken seriously.

What you have to internalize is that these laws are are passed specifically to fuck over men and avoid responsibility for women. Many of the lawyercunt and white knight types sincerely believe that this is their mission. Once you understand this, these kinds of laws make perfect sense.

Unfortunately she froze. Unfortunately a female friend asleep in the same bed was too zonked on alcohol and prescription meds to awaken. Unfortunately a roommate studying eight feet away behind a dividing wall never apparently realized that she was hearing non-consensual sex. This roommate, on the stand, came across as the most confused, stressed, timid, and monosyllabic witness I’ve ever seen. I felt awful for her. The only words she apparently remembers hearing through the wall before going to bed were “don’t push me”.

Please, for the love of god please explain to me how you can do nothing when being 'raped'. How can you do absolutely nothing; not say 'Stop' or put up an iota of resistance, not alert your friend sleeping in the bed next to you, and not even the friend studying 8-feet away? They must have seen or heard something, it is literally impossible for this guy as 'loud and violent' as he was to not have alerted 3 people in a room to his presence, and then rape someone in a shared bed.

The author is clearly leaving out important details that shed light on why the defendant was judged as not guilty.

Yup. A quick perusal of the articles on the case state that the accuser lied about how much alcohol she drank, told the nurse she felt no pain in the examination but told the police different.

The only person not affected by alcohol testified that she did not hear anything but people having sex.

Please, for the love of god please explain to me how you can do nothing when being 'raped'.

Some people do shut down completely when attacked. It's not unheard of.

On the contrary, rape was taken quite seriously. It's just that pre-marital sex was not accepted, and people weren't fucking in frat houses right next to their roommates, so this situation would not have been possible. It was simple: if you were married, the sex was consensual (you said so on your wedding night) and if not, you were either an adulterer or rapist/rape victim. It was quite easy to distinguish the two: if it couldn't be shown that the woman took steps to engage in the sex (going to meet the guy in a secret location, communicating with him before/after the fact, had sex multiple times) then it was assumed she was raped. It still gave women plenty of room for plausible deniability. The sexual revolution restricted that somewhat, so feminists want to make sure they get that plausible deniability back, reason be damned!

lol what a joke, she got drunk and went to a frat and had sex afterwards.

She didn't make enough noise or say "no" to the extent that people 8 feet away didn't think there was a rape going on.

Then she goes to another frat party on Friday - two days after she was "raped" - and probably would have been "raped" that night after getting wasted again if not for a placebo reaction to seeing her "rapist".

What a fucking joke.

Notice how they emotionally dismiss the blackstone ratio. Such ignorance. The entire argument rests on hysteria and assumption of guilt. If the author was so sure it was rape. Why wasn't the jury convinced?

Actually this is statistically ideal. A type I error is definitely something you want to avoid in the court of law when testing Innocent v. Guilty, so the courts will always side with the probability of a type II error over that of type I.
