Hey guys. I have a topic that I wanted to bring up to the group. In my entire life I've slept with maybe 50 women, i'm almost 30, and I was a late bloomer. Very beta in h/s, became more and more alpha during my 20's until my LTR, which turned me back to square one. I would say more than half of the women i have slept with were on vacation (yes I vacation a lot). I find that when I go on a trip, I sleep with at least one woman every trip, and have slept with up to 5 in a week before (3 of which were attractive :) ). Yet, when I live at home, I only ever get sex in a relationship, or through online dating. I have a MAJOR mental block when it comes to picking up women in my own city.

I noticed when I go on vacation, I develop the attitude of "I'll never see any of these people ever again, so I'm not going to give a fuck". I tend to go to all inclusives, usually by myself, and tend to form a large "group" of people in their 20's, and I usually sleep with a couple girls that join that 'group'. I also would have no problem just walking up to a girl and find an excuse to talk with her (e.g a hot girl would be boogie boarding in the waves, so I'd go over there with a board, pretend I didn't know how to do it, then would ask for help, without mentioning I've surfed about 30+ times before). When in a group setting, I was almost always the alpha male of the group. I commanded the conversation, got the most laughs, and generally exuded lots of confidence and sexual energy. Plus, I have super low body fat, so being shirtless has always helped. It's SO crazy how I go from being fairly beta, to a full on alpha male, when I go on trips, especially all inclusive ones. Back home, the context is totally different, and I just find it really hard to pick up women. I am fairly socially dominant normally, but I lack the same zeal as when I'm on a trip. Maybe it's the day drinking?

Biggest differences while being on vacation:

  1. I almost never jerk off, usually too busy getting laid, but even still, I find myself just lacking the desire to in the morning.
  2. I don't know anyone here.
  3. Weather/clothing
  4. More alcohol
  5. Different social context, it's an environment where it's generally 'easier' to talk to randoms (btw by the end of day 7, literally EVERYBODY in the resort knows me, except for a few random families, I'm super outgoing and talk to everyone).

Has anyone else ever had anything like this before? I almost never pick up women from the bar, and find it extremely hard; yet I can guarantee at least one woman a week, usually 2-3, if I go on an all inclusive trip.

Thoughts?
