I'm going to tell you what I found out when I was where you are.

she doesn't even know who you are anymore. you're chasing the ghost of the girl you used to be with who doesn't exist anymore and she is talking to a guy who she has total control of that doesn't exist anymore.

one you guys accepted the get a way, it was taking a path. and you can even do what I did and get back together, but you two will continually break up because the dynamic is crushed.

she isn't going to suddenly look up and see all these changes and improvements and shyly show up on your doorstep saying "I think ... I think I made a mistake" with the rain lightly misting in the wind behind you both with a gazebo for you both to rush to and work things out.

and you can't "convince" her to come back either, because she left. if you "convince" her to come back, you're on the line and she has a "leave anytime" pass that she WILL cash in, saying "I tried to tell you ... but you wouldn't listen".

think about waiting for that foot to drop. Think about her getting the deep treatment after you broke up. hell, that's what I always did when I was the break-er ... ran to the nicest piece of trim that would have me and just abused the hell out of my nether regions until they were numb. My reasoning was I just wanted a different indent on my headboard.
