Don't usually share these, but today, had two incidents with married guys that kind of left me wondering how we all bought into the bullshit in the first place.

Incident #1 -- setup a tee time for this weekend, had to work around one of the four's wife only "letting" him play in the morning, when she's asleep. Reached out to another married guy to fill out the foursome, and he had to work around his wife wanting to try a new church, which knocked out his Sunday morning.

I've given both of them shit (I'm divorced, typical blue pill shit you've heard a million times here) about it, they give me the, "Happy wife, happy life" crap.

My question to them, why the fuck do they need their wife's permission to do a fucking thing, they are grown ass men? First guy wants to play more golf, but has to work around his wife's activities. Second guy wants to keep a failing marriage afloat by going pure blue pill beta, worshiping at her feet to keep her "happy."

I suspect they both would see a marked improvement in their married lives if they told their wives, "I'm going to play golf, join me or not. Enjoy church, see you when you get back/wake up/whatever." Ugh.

Incident #2 -- walking back to work from a staff meeting with a coworker, we start chatting about money, and he mentions that the only time he's been totally debt free was when he wasn't married (on his 2nd marriage). He laughed, said he had no debt, nice truck, nice things, all paid off, 1st wife divorce raped him, now he has a second wife, and owes money to his first wife and two teenage daughters.

Fuck me, my mind is blown trying to figure out how all of us men were sold such a fucking bill of goods that is so obviously against our best interest, that it has been codified in law.
