No. If you think shamed, circumcised men don't masturbate, then I have a bridge to sell you. Removing the foreskin can make it slightly more difficult to do so, but it still happens. As a medical procedure, the only infinitesimal justification is a slight decrease in STD transmission if you have unprotected sex. I'm sorry if you got cut, but there is no good reason that you did-- it was because God told your parents to, or so that you "would look like your daddy". That's the redpill on circs, not this ex ante hamster bullshit. Don't cut your kids.

You can tell yourself that being circumcised is somehow redpill and makes you a better man, but that's some A-grade hamstering to come to terms with why your parents damaged you for life when you were too little to defend yourself.

Evolution gave you the foreskin for a purpose.

There has traditionally been a stigma around male masturbation that does not exist for the female gender.

There definitely was. It's a fairly recent outcome of feminism to remove the stigma on female masturbation (it's empowering!).

So why has masturbation been discouraged in most successful and high-acheiving societies?

Men that don't need women to fulfill them are simply not as productive. A man that isn't providing for a woman and children does not need to make as much money to live comfortably, so he is less likely to produce the same societal benefit (taxes) as a man who is, and women fall right in line with this since they're not receiving the benefit of a provider.
