My man. I am 20 years old, male, and in the last couple months I have only just stumbled upon these truths. You are correct, you are not alone, not by a long shot. The lie is so internalized that I truly believed I was a better person for the way I acted but somehow worse in every other way. Always feeling like less than those 'assholes' who got laid. Not make no mistake I am not going to become those highschool jerks I used to envy, but I will not sit back and act 'nice' to everyone only to have them value it less than their own shit. Not anymore.
