Sorry, but no. Maybe she gets to feel a few sensations of masculinity, but she'll never know what it's like to "live as a man". She will never have known a childhood or teenage years full of competition and being expected to be the best. She'll never know what it's like to be viewed as nothing more than a collection of her accomplishments. She'll never know what it was like to not only lose her pussy pass, but to have never had one in the first place. Sure she might feel an increased sex drive or other emotions, but the meat of "being a man" is a life of hardship, always moving to the next goal or being left in the dust, always having the world look on you as either a cog in the machine or a resource, and never being given the benefit of the doubt or anything for free. Even if she gets a taste of that stuff now, she still lived her life as a female and her formative years were still full of "women are wonderful" rose colored glasses.

To be fair here, she used the phrase "like" a man, she wasn't claiming she suddenly knew what it was to be a man.

Which means, of course, underneath the high-pitched whine of our sex hormones, underneath the lens, we are neither.

That was her closing statement.

Notice how she effectively negates the experience of testosterone as being "just a hormone". Women can't really comprehend how an entire life with testosterone will mold someone as unique to someone without it.

Technically she is correct. Testosterone is "just a hormone".

But if testosterone were in her system for not weeks but multiple decades she would realize that forms of rational and objective thought that are beyond her grasp would await her.

Her response is like saying "sour grapes" to testosterone.

Male anger, when focused, creates pure logic.

Women hate logic.

She's basically a noob with a sports car.

I'm on testosterone and I don't really get angry outbursts, maybe it's the fact she put her hormones out of balance, imo she likely ended up over producing estrogen.

Or actually, she probably treated it like drinking 'I'm like a man now, so I can be angry at people for no reason !'

Probably both. I got put on prednisone about a year ago for a bad case of laryngitis, and I was one angry, moody, aggressive fucker.

She's a noob to it. Not even a 4 year old.

NPR had an article about a woman who took testosterone in order to try to transform herself into a man.

Griffin Hansbury was born female. But seven years ago, after college, Griffin took action to become a man. And he told this story of what it was like to experience the massive increase in testosterone that accompanies this change.

She described the change in her libido resulting from her testosterone injections. Anyone who claims that women want sex just as much as men - they need to read the following few paragraphs.

The most overwhelming feeling is the incredible increase in libido and change in the way that I perceived women and the way I thought about sex. Before testosterone, I would be riding the subway, which is the traditional hotbed of lust in the city. And I would see a woman on the subway, and I would think, she's attractive. I'd like to meet her. What's that book she's reading? I could talk to her. This is what I would say.

There would be a narrative. There would be this stream of language. It would be very verbal.

After testosterone, there was no narrative. There was no language whatsoever. It was just, I would see a woman who was attractive or not attractive. She might have an attractive quality, nice ankles or something, and the rest of her would be fairly unappealing to me.

But that was enough to basically just flood my mind with aggressive, pornographic images, just one after another. It was like being in a pornographic movie house in my mind. And I couldn't turn it off. I could not turn it off. Everything I looked at, everything I touched, turned to sex.

Also:

I remember walking up Fifth Avenue, there was a woman walking in front of me. And she was wearing this little skirt and this little top. And I was looking at her ass. And I kept saying to myself, don't look at it, don't look at it. And I kept looking at it.

And I walked past her. And this voice in my head kept saying, turn around to look at her breasts. Turn around, turn around, turn around. And my feminist, female background kept saying, don't you dare, you pig. Don't turn around. And I fought myself for a whole block, and then I turned around and checked her out.

Don't get trapped by your rules, guys. You come across like a mediocre high school composition teacher in this response and the deletion.
