It sounds like this girl went through some sort of abuse or something traumatic in her life causing her to have trust issues.

This is very obvious. You are already in her frame. She tickled the white knight in you and you started playing on her scene.

First things first, you should never ever try to fix a broken woman. It’s her problem, not yours.

Second, never talk to her about her feelings. You will be drawn into her frame and nobody will be happy.

And lastly, always listen to your gut feeling.

She will not "come around". That's your inner Nice Guy wanting to save her. She's likely mentally ill and should be avoided.

It also sounds like you have no other options so you're desperate because it's the closest you've come to having a girl in your bed.

Run far. Run fast. She's drama. Maybe She's just shy, or maybe She's a basket case. Figuring out which might cost you your life.

My gut feeling was "nope". Maybe she is a repeat "survivor" whatever that means. Maybe she was molested. Maybe her anxiety meds arnt dosed correctly. What I know for sure, is you can find another one without so many maybes. Whatever problems she has, it's best you never learn about them.
