I challenged myself this week with a multi-day camping bicycle trip in the winter. I've been working on a start up without a job, so naturally I'm pretty broke. I was in a public place with cloths on that I had been biking in for 5 days. I hadn't taken a shower in 2 days, but I still thought I looked good. I also felt badass for making such an awesome journey in the freezing cold mountains. I was typing up my blog on my laptop when a cute girl sits down across from me. I begin chatting her up with light banter. She says shes tired, so I invite her over to the couch I am sitting on because its more comfortable and she joins. I joke about massaging her when she says shes sore (I actually should have massaged her, but I still have a fear of PDA instilled in me from FUCKING public school). I ask her to walk around with me holding hands pretending to have known each other for a while. She laughs and says, ya wana be shopping buddies (uggh orbiter, lol). I scoff and say no. We talk about BJ's since it was in a book she was reading and she brought it up(I wanted to invite her somewhere private, but I am in a foreign city. Bathroom seemed like the only option but it also seemed dirty). I hear a song on the radio and I say I am going to embarrass her and then I sing it at the top of my lungs for all in the indoor space to hear. She keeps hinting that she wants food, but I have no money so I just ignore it. Finally she offers to buy me food. At first I say no but then I say yes. We split a sub sandwich. Something tells me that this was just a pity thing on her part since she was obviously the more wealthy person in this interaction. At some point she says "I wish you were staying in town longer because there's this cool jazz thing tomorrow with dancing and stuff." In the end she says, "Alright, well I got to go meet my boyfriend for lunch. See ya" and then we exchange our contact info.

Honestly, she was probably just being nice, but I'd like to think she was attracted to something dark in my dirty bohemian thing I had going on. Hah. Who knows? Anyone want to analyze this situation? Hell, the girl may even come on here to comment herself (improbable though), since I introduced her to TRP.

My takeaways: 1) I noticed points in the interaction where I was seeking some validation. 2) I was self conscious about my money situation. 3) I want to get over this public PDA phobia. 4) I allowed myself to be present with a) my horniness and b) my nervousness

Anyone want to point out some insight that I am missing or confirm/contest any deductions I have made?

EDIT:CloakedOrchid mentions that I am being self defeating when I ask was she just being nice despite green lights. I think he is right here and I think I have a problem with this. So instead of talking about that perhaps the thread should be about getting creative about possible ways that the interaction could have been more sexy and fun :) (It was definitely a fun time as it was anyway)
