If you ever met Trump or Putin, they'd probably be pleasant and shake your hand.

If you asked either of them to give you something and it doesn't benefit them to do so, they'd probably tell you to go to hell. A "nice guy" wouldn't do that.

This is actually a decent question and there is a lot to it.

So first off being cordial isn't the same as being nice. You can greet people and have manners and no one is saying not to. That isn't what being a nice guy is at all.

First off being a Nice Guy is a projection. Nice Guys assume character traits based on what they find attractive because they assume that attraction is universal. This leads them to become submissive for one. They claim it is being nice to always let the woman drive or pick where to eat or choose what to do or never call her on her bullshit. Those things aren't kind or nice. They are submissive.

This is one of the main reasons that women like bad boys. When women see a man breaking rules or laws and get attracted, most nice guys minds explode because they can't see past their own projection. It is the opposite of what they want and so it disgusts them that women would find this attractive. The secret here though is that the bad boys are asserting themselves as above everyone else. They acknowledge no one as above them and lay claim as the leader. This is what attracts women.

Women want power, control, and dominance. Nice guys view these things as something to be shunned and take a submissive "let the women have their way" mentality. This makes them feminine in the eyes of women. Actually you become worse. You become a weak man. You are a being they despise and feel nothing for. They use you for everything you will offer and they feel no remorse for it.

Being a Nice Guy gets you nothing in the dating circle. It actually makes everything worse. So anyways, go ahead and be cordial. Just don't be a submissive door mat.

Has nothing to do with charm, manners or being polite.

Its constantly putting others before oneself, where it is to a negative. Giving away resources and never getting a return. Where people take advantage and abuse that "niceness".

There was this awesome animated video someone shared not too long ago that explained the passive aggressive behaviors that comes with a person who would define themselves as a nice person.

The most important lesson i learned from No more Mr. niceguy is that there is a massive difference between a "Nice Guy" and a "Good Man".

Being nice is an attempt to be inoffensive , to not stir controversy, to leave a positive impression by essentially not risking or creating negative energy and in my nice guy journey this was all a product of my need to be perceived , appreciated, and validated by those around me. I glowed when women mentioned that i was so nice because i felt it made me better than the other not nice men ( who had ten times the women i did) . I enjoyed my coworkers calling me a nice guy , not a good friend, not a strong worker, not insightful, critical to my team...nope nice . I loved when my sisters and mothers told me how nice i was and how some day i'd make some girl very very happy as i looked forward to meeting my perfect angel and setting my life aside by her. None of this was selfless , i didn't really like myself so i hoped if i played a "nice " role everyone would enjoy me .... and i guess they did in as much as you enjoy someone that doesn't piss you off.

In comparison i have this coworker an immigrant guy who curses like a sailor , makes unfiltered non- PC jokes all the time, always has an opinion on everything and can push you so much he can be irritating he is a good man . Honestly he's probably one of the best men I've met in my life . He used to womanize like crazy and he once suggested to me that you know a woman is yours when she'll let you choke her in bed......which inspired me to choke my chick in bed ... I relished it and she didn't mind it . My exchanges with him aren't always pleasant, sometimes he says shit that offends me a little (i'm a big boy so it's no sweat off my back) . Sometimes he offers advice that i don't agree with at all but at the end of the day i like and trust him because i know everything he does comes from an honest place within himself not to gain my favor or for him to come off as likable .

The core concern behind all of this is neediness , what is the motivation behind your kindness and approach to people? A needy person is nice to be perceived of as nice , a kind act is done out of kindness not out of a hidden desire to receive positive karma points.

Being friendly, fun, creating positive emotions is great those are perceptions you create within someone else but to be nice .... All you have to do to be nice is just not be an asshole.

Being a "nice guy" is a failed sexual strategy in which a male portrays himself to the world as "noble" and "good" under the impression that women want "noble" and "good" as as he, a Nice Guy, is more noble and good than other men, then women, or at leas the object of his affections, should want him, sexually, as opposed to a "bad boy", or a douchebag, etc.

Thus, when you see a Nice Guy with a girl who he wants but who is not (yet! yet, dammit!) his girlfriend, he is basically engaging in a "boyfriend audition", which tends to be covert, although the girl usually understands what's up 99% of the time, and will be happy to receive attention, gifts, compliments, etc., from the Nice Guy...and she then go fuck an outlaw biker or an escaped mental patient, leaving the Nice Guy, who was always looking for a sexual quid pro quo for his "niceness", cursing the inherent fickle/cunty nature of women, the unfairness of the world, etc.

As I say this is a failed sexual strategy, as there is yet no documented case of an outlaw biker or escaped mental patient crying "How could she leave me for that Nice Guy?! It's just so UNFAIR!"

Not a nice guy, a "NiceGuy". As in those guys that always bitch that assholes always get the girl. Those assholes are often fairly nice guys, they're just confident and tease their girls a little. "NiceGuys" are usually not that nice when they finally drop the act they've been playing with covert contracts to get the girl.

If you really are a nice guy then you're not the guy people hate on. But then you already read NMMNG so you already knew that. Why the fuck are you asking again?

I'd like to think I'm a good guy. I don't assault people, when I say I'm going to do something I do it, and I'm not going to ditch my friends to go hang out with a slut who just invited me over.

A "nice guy" is different. A nice guy would ditch his friends in a heartbeat if it meant getting laid. A nice guy gives gifts and time to a girl and then expects her to respond with being attracted to him. This causes the girl to say "just because you're nice to me that doesn't mean I'm going to date/fuck you." Translation: I'm not attracted to guys who put my needs before theirs and give me complements because they think those will get me wet.

Girls are attracted to guys who move fast, and make their intentions known. Guys who make a move before she signals. (If she's been expecting it you missed the optimal time) Guys who put their needs ahead of hers. And guys who do things without asking. As a example, a nice guy would ask to slap a girls ass, or pull her hair. I don't. I just do it. And they love it. If it's too rough they just mention it and I let up a bit.

Basically what I'm saying is you can still be fair, and just, and happy in giving her pleasure/intimatcy. I love seeing a plate happy. I love the smile on her face when I pick her up and carry her into my room. But never put her above you.

Kindness from a position of strength is not weakness. "Nice", in a redpill context, refers to guys who grovel and supplicate and put women on an undeserved pedestal. This is inherently viewed as weakness by women - and women HATE weakness and are REPELLED by it.

The author was making a point that some males use this as a ploy to basically get into a women's panties. It sometimes works (I had a plate in my beta days due to this), but I wouldn't recommend it. Why? Because a) I'm not a nice guy; b) it's a sure fire way into the friendzone. You have to communicate your interest early on, as this stops you wasting time on women who won't drop their panties.

Re alphas; don't ever mistake charming as nice. Some of them can be genuine altruists, but charming is usually a tool used to get what they want. And you know what? It usually works!

Also being too nice can come across as very creepy, especially off the bat when meeting people.
