They're playing the same game as feminists. They're playing victim. Most RP advice is about doing the best you can for you and yours in a world that just wants to use you up and dispose you. MRAs are operating under the delusion that they are going to somehow transform the larger feminized west into a society that respects and values all men (not just the top 10% attractive and successful) in the same way it bends over backwards for women.

MRAs might make some inroads against the obviously abhorrent radfems, but they aren't going to make a dent in the larger feminist establishment. Nothing short of a full societal collapse will do that.

It's still leftist thought, men are oppressed and mistreated and taken for granted, and we need to transform society so that this doesn't happen. TRP thought really isn't about playing victim, it's about recognizing the truth and figuring out how to act with agency in a way that benifits yourself, not some other hypothetical victims. This is poison to most leftist thought.

They want to be well thought of, and they think their enemies can be reasoned with. This makes them very vulnerable to being bullied and having their discussion derailed. For example, every day there's a "feminist here, convince me why you guys aren't creepy misogynists" post, and instead of RTFM/close thread, there are hundreds of comments accepting conversation on those terms.

The general philosophy is "where's the feminism/gender equality for males?". They expect the problems of men to be treated with as much empathy as the problems of women. Men are encouraged to emote and seek help in a feminine way, but as soon as they do so, they're regarded as whiny bitches. If it happens often enough, some of them will notice the pattern and come to the conclusion that some gender differences can't be socially engineered away, that sometimes men have to deal with their problems in a masculine way, and not worry about being thought well of by guardians of political correctness.

I unsubscribed to /r/mensrights. To me, they are pre-TRP. Which is fine. And I'm more or less unsubscribed to /r/mgtow. Those guys are... going their own way, I guess.

What I like about TRP is it's finally calling the spade a spade, dealing with it, accepting it, and living with it. /r/mensrights is a mix of guys who are still confused and guys who've been burnt to a crisp by women and the legal system. If you've dodged life's sandtraps, you probably don't need to spend a lot of time in /r/mensrights.

I'm glad to see i'm not the only 1, I made a comment over there the other day & got downvoted b/c I committed the awful crime of using the word "feminazi" to refer to well feminazis. I was told in so many words to stop being a big bad meanie & that if we try to be nice, then maybe others will like us

Fuck that. I have enough good sense to know that people, especially those you wish to influence will never respect you if they see you don't have any respect for yourself. These pussies who are resposnible for all this, which to be fair is far from all of them, are doing much more harm to the cause than help

The problem with /r/mensrights is it's full of redditors. I haven't exactly checked but I'm pretty sure most of reddit is left-leaning betas and white knights. So what they got is MRA-lite now with more PC flavor.

I've even seen a number of "communist MRA's" on that sub. It's laughable.

I support /r/mensrights but it is a total bitchfest over there. Mostly complaining and walking on eggshells. Gently pointing out every double standard they can find. I'm subbed to both but I hardly ever actually go there. I read a thread earlier about their opinions on TRP and it did rustle my jimmies a bit. The fact is we don't really need them. Feminism is parasitic. When more and more red pill men are opting out of marriage, LTRs, fatherhood, and not giving any general fucks feminism will die on it's own.

First, MR is fairly large, and serves as a lightning rod for the ire of the feminists. Accordingly, they suffer lots of trolling from feminists, especially SRS. Their quest to be open and receptive to visitors adds to this problem.

Second, MR wants to change the system from within. Accordingly, that means attempting to convert your opponents - which is part and parcel of changing a system from within its confines, and is a workable solution when your ideas have factual validity. However, feminism is not congruent with factual content, so intellectual conversion doesn't work on its more radical members (e.g. SRS and other faces of the movement). Similarly, civil discourse (not calling your opponents 'cunts') goes along with trying to change within the system.

TRP tries to exploit a broken system. MGTOW says, "fuck it," and refuses to play the game. I see nothing wrong with r/mensrights, r/theredpill, r/mgtow, and any other sub of the sort. The methods are all different, and their desired endpoints are probably different, but the general direction has similarities.

Not much you can do about it. Try to continue the type of discussion you want. Downvote stupid threads and trolls, while also upvoting everything that isn't. Hopefully the more people who do this the better it will get. I wouldn't call people out on being trolls, this will just lead to a constant troll hunt. In my opinion it's better to downvote and move on.

I was subscribed to /r/mensrights for a bit over a year to get the gist of the top headlines over there. As many probably are aware of, the majority of them were victim posts.

So a month or so ago I posted a funny blog with TRP memes all over it to bring something other than whining to the table. I got completely downvoted for it. I had figured initially that /r/mensrights being controversial as it is, I was being downvoted by the run of the mill PC enforcer.

When I got a reply from a moderator saying that content isn't wanted there, I assumed that /r/mensrights got concern trolled all the way to the mod team and unsubbed.

you know, I've noticed the decline. I'm a rather liberal guy but the shit there is just so whiny. not to mention the trolls. i think it has to do with the heat mend rights gets from srs and feminism in general. menders was an easy target for professional victims to target.even i feel into the "don't curse the feminist" because i wanted the sub to appeal more universally to people. then i read the into to"the manosphere" and realized i wassounding more blue then red and i didn't like it. however its driving men like me to subs likeTRP so my balls don't crawl up inside me and i start wearing my white armor. hopefully this is a common trend with other people over there, since there is a cross over of many TRP posts and mens rights posts.
