Whether you sprint or trip, taking a step forward lets you know you can move in whatever direction you want.

Whether you win or lose is irrelevant, how hard you try is important, because by doing the act, you've now had a taste. The question is, do you like the taste or not? This is how you find your path.

Had I not giving everything I had to my past relationship, I never would have realized the harsh reality of conditional love and how hard people will fuck you over. But had I not realized that, I wouldn't have developed the pride I have now.

You shouldn't do hard things because they build frame, even though that's a good side effect. You should do hard things because they are hard. If something's hard, that means not very many people do it. So when you do it, you've done more than most people.

It's a lot like the movie Fight Club. After joining, getting their asses kicked, and letting go of life's easy comforts, these men all become comfortable in their skin for the first time in their lives.

Dont know why you get downvoted. It's 100% true.

I can confirm this. Hardest thing I ever did on life (up to that point) was my Infantry Section Commander Course, in the Canadian Army, back in the mid-90's. Men much younger and fitter than I were my peers, and the pressure solidified my frame (though I didn't know what frame actually was back then of course).

But I didn't maintain it. I back slid to beta behaviour. Years later, going to Afghanistan brought that frame back.

What is amazing for outcome independence is exposing yourself to death and tragedy. Everything that isn't literally a matter of life or death becomes relatively unimportant and inconsequential, and you cease to sweat the small stuff.

Lol you think doing math with some nerdy Asians is a hard life. Cry me a river. If you can't sleep cause your worried about ching getting a higher A than you then your frame needs a lot of work and your life needs some perspective. Good luck bruh
