The thing with vasecatemies is that a lot doctors won't perform it unless you're 30+ with 2 kids.

Which is fucking heinous. I can drink my self to death but not tie some tubes, even though they're reversible and you can freeze sperm.

I was in a similar boat - tried and tried to get a vasectomy for a long time, kept getting refused. Eventually I used a nuclear option - I told my GP if he wouldn't arrange a referral (up here in Canada you have to get a referral from a GP to see most any specialist) then I would go to Mexico and have it done anyways.

He realized at that point that I had resolve on the matter and made the arrangements.

Helps that I was cohabiting with a female at the time and she told him that she didn't want kids either (so she said - she later changed her mind, but that's another story for another time).
