I've been thinking a lot about how women have many childish tendencies. We know for sure of a couple:
- abstaining from responsibility
- throwing tantrums to get their way
But have we thought about ways to approach this? Of course we have, this is Red Pill. However, I've been thinking about the connections with game and child psychology. There are several differences but a lot of the approaches are the same. One that all of you are familiar with is refusing to argue. Children will challenge you all the time and the biggest mistake adults make is participating in the challenge. It doesn't matter if you win or lose to the child, all that matters is that you engaged them - at this point you have lost. Women do similar things. They will pick fights just to fight and we know they will argue as irrationally as they want to. Again, as a man, it is your job not to engage them. All they want is the attention and once you've given it to them, you've already lost. This is called, picking up the rope. It comes from a child psychologist I'm familiar with and the explanation being that children will toss you a rope, you will pick it up at first and they will pull; if you pull you lose, but if you drop it you win.
Lets throw another tactic I've learned from him. Silence is golden. Children get uncomfortable in silence and are looking for you to get frustrated (see rope theory). If a kid is challenging me with something he/she absolutely shouldn't do, then I can't just drop the rope, I have to tell him/her to stop. I make my point concise and clear while looking them in the eye. Once I've said what I need to say, I wait. I wait for as long as I have to before the child says something. Whoever talks first in this exchange loses. I can't really explain WHY, but this does work. Don't break eye contact and don't say anything. How does this apply to women. Well, here's an example.
I was with my girlfriend yesterday and she told me about something that made me mad. I said my piece, she apologized but I still was pissed. What did I do? I stared off into the distance and ignored her until she said something. I did this a few times until I felt it was sufficient and returned to normal. Why was this successful? She couldn't stand me being mad and ignoring her. If I broke the silence first, I would have lost. But because I waited (sometimes for up to a minute or so) she got uncomfortable and talked first. She lost. Now, this wasn't an argument or anything. I made my point clear of what she needs to do in order for me to not be pissed or disappointed in her.
Are these tactics perfect? No, this is why I'm posting to get some feedback. I think there are a lot of cross-overs with gaming and child psychology. The most important one is don't ever let yourself be coaxed into a snafu. By that I mean, recognize the tactics women will use to make you look stupid and merely drop the rope.
