A lot of focus here is on self betterment, which is good. I personally would rather better myself because of the rewards it gives me, women included. But, on the pickup side of things, there is something to be said of faking the role of provider.

Before I start, if you're in your 20s this absolutely will not work for you. Girls your age don't want a provider and the ones in their thirties, our target demographic here, don't want what they see as a kid. Women above 28 or so are starting to see a decline in the resources they can procure with their looks. As a result, they begin to look for "love", the last branch on the way down, the man that will buy them their house. In their search for this they stumble upon you. You, the man " looking for a real woman", "looking for someone to settle down with" and the like.

Now don't get me wrong, you aren't actually looking for this. You are just feeding them this crap to get in their pants.

The idea is that you need a woman to meet your needs and you pinky promise to meet theirs in return. Not as overt. But she needs to get the idea that you are her meal ticket AND she has to put out to secure it. You do NOT want her to use her normal strategy of holding out on sex to secure you, their go to method. You want her to think that she has to win you with sex. That she has a chance to hook you, but she has to use the pussy.

Then, of course, when your banged her once, or however many times you want, she becomes "just not the one for me". Don't drag this out too much, the more times you bang her the more vicious her wrath will be when she realizes she's getting nothing. So this isn't so much a plate spinning strategy as it is a few quick fucks. But you can pick up one or two of these every couple of weeks and bang each of them a few times with minimal effort and resource investment.

Now, this doesn't mean you don't have to work on yourself. If you are fit and financially stable it will be almost impossible for these women to say no. You will look like the whole package. And you should be still taking care of yourself for yourself regardless.

Also you aren't going to be getting any grade A pussy this way. Were talking about 32 year old 6s and 7s. Not necessarily bad, you could get a boner and have fun, but nothing to write home about.
