Yes, All Women Are Like That

A tragedy happened to community of Santa Barbara and somehow it's all about them and their feelings of oppression.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And all men are responsible

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In a month, they'll forget about it. I don't think it's worth it.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

He killed 4 men, 2 women, then himself.

No one remembers that there are dead men.

seems like he hated men more than women. Legalize prostitution. This sort of thing wouldn't happen. I mean, wrest control of prostitution away from the family court lawyers and give it back to the original pimps.

[–]thechuff 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Indeed, legalize and regulate prostitution, aka admit its existence.

What I fear would happen is the legalization and then ignorance of the industry. People in the industry should be treated equally under the law as well, protected.

[–]billiegoad1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Yeah but legalize prostitution then no one would get married. What would happen to the 50 billion dollar a year divorce industry?

[–]GBTCDude -3 points-2 points-1 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Prostitution is not a victimless crime, countless women and men contract deadly STD's by having unprotected sex with their "customers" The ignorance in this case is your disregard of other people's health who may not be in the right circumstances to make rational decisions or may be mentally ill to sell their bodies in a safe way.

[–]thechuff 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

who may not be in the right circumstances to make rational decisions or may be mentally ill

You've made a classic response here. Prostitution happens whether it is legal or not. If it's legal, the people doing the selling can be protected by laws. If it's illegal, they can't go to the police for help because their very profession is against the law.

It's much safer for the people who engage in prostitution (and they do so, even if it's not legal), if prostitutes can go to the law when they need help.

Also, STD's exist now despite prostitution's illegal status.

I was going to submit a post about this you beat me to it. #YesAllWomen is just another construct to make shit about them.

Instead of talking about bullying in school, they make it about Bob the creep who looks at me too long at the gym

Instead of how young men like the shooter can find solutions to their loneliness, they make it about fantasized sexual harassment in the workplace

Instead of encouraging young men to socialize with them, they actually discourage it with stupid statements like, "#YesAllWomen because I have a choice in who I want to talk to"

[–]csmass 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Me, me, me, me! All I ever hear out of my generation. What pathetic little girls we have these days. Even more pathetic are the beta's that encourage this behavior.

[–]McRedMan 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'd prefer that we don't go into these things but some guys on here like to. It's just breathing more life into the vapid, mindless rage that feminists have.

With that being said, #YesAllWomen is a man hating, brainless bandwagon of women that seek to feminize men and society as a whole. It seeks to remove agency from women, therefore placing the blame on all males. While some are warranted, a majority are obtuse vitriol.

Also, unfollow those women who make those huge generalization on your twitter feed. They aren't worth your acquaintance.

Listen to this. She's demonstrating she cannot separate herself from the herd and assert her own opinions independent of groupthink, if she had legitimate arguments to make she should be capable of doing so without jumping on a media hype circus, the only exception to a woman using the hashtag in an acceptable manner of course is to use the hashtag to undermine the people utilising the hashtag to be misandrist, or otherwise whine about how difficult their overprivileged lives are. Overprivileged does not mean they do not face difficulties, we all do, life is inherently difficult for everybody, but it is less difficult for some than it is for others, and for those who get the most assistance and support to stand on ceremony and complain loudly so those who are helped less are forced to listen is nothing short of arrogant and small-minded. I think a more apt description of #YesAllWomen is #FirstWorldProblems, a lot of the things moaned about are so small-minded in nature that they aren't even worthy of attention, such as how you do not like how people look at you. That's something you'll never change and it applies to both sexes, yet I bet if you were to explore that hashtag, you'd find a number of women using the hashtag as an excuse to moan about this minor contrivance, amplifying their innocence and victimhood whilst decrying the evils of the glancing man.

[–]culofiesta 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Female privilege, same as it ever was. Women being born into the most pampered people in history that need some reason to feel oppressed, otherwise their lives are pointless.

Women that complain about how hard it is have no idea how much worse so many other people have it. Their complete lack of empathy towards other people is ironic, considering it was all started by their male version that whined about how hard life is.

[–]isthatyourdaughter 16 points16 points16 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Women with truly hard lives, I've found, are often quiet and very sweet to talk to. It's only later you find out how rough they have it. Such women have little use for attention whoring.

[–]culofiesta 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Agreed. I'm always shocked at how the women that always talk about oppression are usually the very definition of "privilege" and their idea of oppression is people treating them equally.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah wasn't there some feminist chick who did a stint as a 'man' (basically dressing up and pretending to be a man to the world). The end result was they ended up being checked into a mental ward for a bit because of it and their conclusion was men need more feminism... Oh well you cant cure solipsism

[–]culofiesta 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I read about one who dressed up as a man and found out it wasn't the great privilege buffet she thought it was. She became more sympathetic towards men because she realized that * shock * they have to put up with bullshit too.

Hashtags are preferable to reality much less discussion in whole swaths of our population.

It's vacuous, void of substance and accomplishes nothing.

Let them rant.

The 24/7 news cycle will digest them in a week and they'll be off to the next whatever-gets-put-in-your-face "issue".

[–]Syd_G 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's true. Hashtag activists very rarely make any difference and their causes are usually forgotten after about a week.

 #kony2012

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's because thankfully twitter doesnt put hashtags on trending for a long time.

[–]Senior ContributorSkorchZang 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

The dumb cunts sheeping in droves behind this hashtag are all just assuming they'd do reaaaaal well for themselves in a world where men treat women the same as men, a fantasy world with no sexual discrimination.

No amount of prescription pills, and no amount gratuitous feminist self-love iconography will save a woman from black despair unto death, when she experiences for herself true sexual non-discrimination from men, also known as genuine enculturated apathy about the fact that she's a woman.

#Tits Or GTFO.

[–]thechuff 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You were especially eloquent here: "Nobody cares that you're a woman," the feminist dreamworld that is actually a woman's nightmare

[–]bama79rolltide2 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

If you go on Twitter and read that hashtag, you won't be surprised.

Screw these bitches and their entitlement. The White Knighting is deep with this one.

[–]Subtletorious 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is just opportunistic twats tweeting on Twitter. Like many feminine fads they will loose interest when the next shiny thing comes along. Oh look, Beyonce!

Twitter demographics 50% USA +73% under 25 +50% female www.beevolve.com/twitter-statistics/

Feminism never let's a crisis go to waste. More men than women were killed, yet they only care about advancing their own manhating political agenda
