Believing in the betabux stuff is counterproductive for many guys. They think once they have a six figure salary they'll become a catch. Lol some engineer thinking he'll get pussy thrown at him if he starts earning double the average for where he lives.

The truth is women have for years now been earning as much as men (or near enough) that the kind of money you can realistically expect to earn is just not that impressive to them. No woman is going to become a live-in prostitute for a guy who earns like 30%-40% more than her unless she's in financial dire straits. And most of them aren't. Like forget the whereareallthegoodmen memes, think about the women you know in your life. Almost all women I know are fine financially, single moms included. I'm sure some of them would go for a multi millionaire, but that's not a mating/dating strategy any more than playing the lottery is a financial strategy.
