Wait, he isn't wrong. Women need men less because they hired the daddy government more. They value stability and security over their freedom, so that is exactly what they got. The more men support women without getting anything in exchange, i.e. voluntarily giving your money to them through paying income, property, or registrations taxes you don't necessarily owe, provides them with additional resources that they previously had to suck a mean cock for.

In short, women are getting what they want, stability and security without consequences, while men are not getting what they want, a companion, a sexually intimate partner, a wife who will support her husbands decisions, a mother who will raise his children without looking to branch swing, etc etc.

Although, I disagree with his last statement, but everything is basically true. Men in the past didn't just get to live on autopilot, life was hard and they endured hardships that most of us couldn't even fathom. The golden age was the industrial revolution where the average man got access to utilize the corporate machine in ways they couldn't before.

Also, I disagree with the title completely. OP decided to add his own opinion there and it just stinks to high heaven. It isn't a good thing for society to collapse, no good will come out of that. If men don't wake up and stop paying for women's socialized support structures, whatever comes from the ashes of the hell people will be living in will be more of the same. Men need to support themselves, by taking responsibility for themselves and learn how to avoid getting into this mess in the first place. Everybody wants to say there are only 2 options at this point, total collapse and war or enslavement, but they forget the least bloody and easiest option of them all, and that is learning Law and how to avoid contributing to the collapse or enslavement in the first place.

70 billion USD a year wedding industry which almost exclusively caters to women: https://blog.marketresearch.com/the-wedding-industry-in-2017-and-beyond
The prevalence of articles bemoaning "Where are all the good men", documented on this sub quite often
The prevalence of dating profiles of reformed CC riders, looking for a "good man" and wanting to "settle down" in a relationship. Likewise documented on this sub.

So, no, while the premise seems plausible, failing to account for these facts makes it suspect at best.

These people have no fucking clue what intricate, non-reproducible confluence of historical forces and, well, accidents was necessary to create the most prosperous and most stable civilization in the history of the world, on whose fruits they gorge themselves and utterly depend. Just like narcissistic millennials who take it for granted that they will get a participation trophy just for trying out for the little league team, these women (and more than a few men) take it for granted that they will continue enjoying this standard of living just by existing, or as Mll. are they actually proud of living an easy life? why would you want to live the life of a spoiled little brat, who's 16 years old forever, who never grows up. it feels like people are getting dumber and dumber because of how easy life has gotten for the attractive or the privileged, which might just include me and you but i doubt it. as horrible as pain and setbacks are they are life experience and when you get everything handed to you, it ruins you, you become somebody who feels and never thinks.

I'll address the title. If society collapses, scores of people will be killed. Men, women, children. They're will be rioting, looting, raping, etc. If you think things are bad now, you have no idea how much worse it can get. Trust me, if society collapses, you'll be begging for the days when the worst part of your day is dealing with traffic or an annoying customer.

As for this idea of women needed men more, if you think that's a good thing, you're a fool. Back when women needed men to survive directly, men HAD to be married. They HAD to have kids. So if you're a single man without kids or divorced, it's highly likely that you will be in a marriage whether you like it or not. Because survival takes priority. You really want to be locked in a house with a woman, not because she even likes you, but because you're a proxy agent for her survival? You want a woman so badly that you would support that?

The post makes some (stupid) assumptions:

When a woman deigns to marry a man she is doing him a huge favor.
Back when men could usually marry young by being a good worker and provider, this was just laziness. Actually the correct, honest way to attract a wife is by being attractive. So forget putting in long hours at work, you should be putting in long hours at the gym and at the club learning Game.
Any man can easily get a girlfriend/wife by being more attractive than 80%+ of other men.
