Hi, I have a sister that just recently got out of a decade long abusive relationship last year. It was her first experience with a guy; I'm not about displaying her trauma in public but it was her entire life as an adult. She doesnt handle being alone especially after the breakup process, and found a guy on a dating app. I'm just extremely worried with where she is at that her standards are set to low and that she could get hurt. She's older than I am but has such a fragile heart I don't want to see her go through something like this again. This new guy skeeves me out, (tw for context): guy in his 30's, voluntarily describes his past abuse in explict detail while laughing (like its a show of honor and not, you know, traumatizing), fatphobic rhetoric constantly, has mentioned being so angry he had to hold back the urge to choke his ex wife. other violent or otherwise offensive "jokes" that pass and go instantly, all the time. an all around nerdy anime guy who doesnt come off to me as having the greatest social skills.

How can I even begin to talk with her about this? Ive had her express to me this is the happiest she's ever been, being free from her ex and being with this guy. But I feel like I need to bring this up without crushing her / making her feel hopeless or having her percieve me as attacking her. I'm on the fence if its even appropriate to do so. She's a grown woman. I'm a lesbian and tend to be biased(lol), but it's extremely worrisome. If anyone has any advice it'd be super appreciated. Thank you ladies
