Ive been with my bf for 3.5 months now and so far everything seems amazing. The only thing that worries me a little / presents as a potential red flag is when I was asking him about his relationship history, he told me that he had been single for 1.5 years and not tried to seriously date anyone since.

He had gone on dates and even dated one girl for 4 months, but told her he was not interested in a serious relationship. She was okay with this at first but eventually caught feelings and she eventually ended it because he couldn’t give her what she wanted.

He said he had made it clear from the beginning that je did not want anything serious, but probably also did things that made it seem like he did really like her and was having sex with her .

Anyways, he told me this a month into dating .Initially i was s bit sad bc i assumed it only a matter of time before he told me the same line since they had ended things a month before we met

When I brought it up he said that things were just different with me and that he knew right away he wanted to date me. Ofc that’s nice to hear, but I can’t help but think if he can act that way with her, is it a red flag?
