Questions to ask ( ideally) before the first date?

I am sick and tired of tiptoeing around men and being nice. I have to start dating again and I want to ask my potential future partners questions that are relevant to me. I don’t want to waste my time on men who are not worth it not to even mention how I don’t want to touch them before I know they are at least seemingly not LVM or incompatible with me. I also want them to answer this basically on the first date since after they already know me they know what kind of answers I want to hear which is precisely what I am trying to avoid. My goal is to get them to answer without giving away my thoughts so they can be honest. I know you can’t trust them anyway because they can still try to sugarcoat but I am trying to be as selective as I can possibly be starting asap.

-Are you religious? What do you think about religion ?

-What are your thoughts on abortion?

-Do you want to get married? When? ( after how much dating)

-Have you ever been married?

-How long was your longest relationship? Why did it end?

-What do you think about threesomes ? Have you ever had them? If so how many? -What do you think about lgbt+ ?

-What do you think about polyamory? Have you ever been in a non monogamous relationship?

-Do you do any drugs? What are your opinions on drugs?

-How often do you drink?

-Do you smoke?

-What do you think about diamond engagement rings?

-What are your professional ambitions ?

-Do you want to liven in [ my home country] What about somewhere else in Europe? Which country?

-What suits you more city life or country life?

-Do you like cats? Would you own them? Any pet allergies?

-Do you like dogs? Would you own them?

-What is your political stance?

-What do you think about feminism?

-What are your opinions of traveling? Any dream destinations?

-What is your opinion on plastic surgery?

-What are your opinions on vaccines, covid, conspiracy theories in general?

-Do you read/ listen to the news? Which sources do you follow?

-Do you read books? What is the last book you read and when?

-Your favorite movies/tv shows?

-What is your relationship with your parents?

Any siblings? If so what is your relationship with them like?

-Tell me a bit about your exes ( I just want to see if they are all “crazy” since that shows me that he is an abusive no good pos)

-Do you want to live in an apartment or a house? Rent/own?

-Do you care about interior design for your future home? If the answer is yes show me a few examples of a perfectly decorated space?

  • I am excluding some very obvious questions which will be answered in the first few words of our conversation (do you have your own place, level of education , profession, age and so on). I am also judging their first date ideas of course.
