Wife is slowly coming around. More submissive in our everyday life, plus more sex. Hell, the other day, I made a mess all over her. She looked down and said "You gave me a pearl necklace?" In the most submissive, playful and demure tone. I melted inside. I'd never felt that kind of gratification. It was more emotionally stirring than the sex itself. It was like the days when I first fell in love with her... But I digress.

So today as she was getting dressed, I asked her to drop her house coat for me. I wanted to see her naked. She resisted and put on some panties. I voiced my displeasure. She still does this often with little things. It's getting better, but it is still there.

I tell her that I won't touch her, that I just want to check her out. She knows I'm being straight up but decides to negotiate by offering to show me "One breast". I show my disappointment by shrugging with a "Nah, Nevermind." And hit the shower. I didn't feel butt hurt or sore. I was simply disappointed that she would challenge me on something so small. Sex in itself, was not the issue.

I came back in and she stood between me and my side of the bed. I took it as an offering. So I leaned her over the bed and undid her pants and had a moment to play with her. She did not resist, but with only a bit of playful push/pull. Also worth mentioning, the kids downstares didn't stir her, nor the use of a mirror behind us (which i used as I groped her). She hates mirrors.

So here's the point: It doesn't go further than this, and as I pull her pants back up, she asks if I'm happy now that she 'complied'. The word struck a nerve. She is a strong willed woman. She was smirking as she said it, but sharp teeth were showing within the words.

So I responded playfully, with shit eating grin, "I prefer the term cooperation" and she shared in the tone and spirit of my humor.

This is a big wall of text, for what may be argued to be a very trivial thing, but it weighs heavily for me. Now that I've internalized most of the first wave of MRP theory, I'm trying to delve into the deeper more advanced levels. And this incident has my spidey Senate's senses tingling.

Not sure what I'm asking, cause this appears to be a good outcome for the most part. But I'm stuck in that moment and I'm not sure why. Like debugging code. The program works, but there's something in the structure or the syntax that isn't quite right.

Thanks for humoring my vague post.
