Not going to lie, Ive had my ups and downs in marriage. Some of them so bad, we both wanted to walk away but somehow we are still together.

I met my wife in 2015. Things hit off really well but the only thing I regret is I wish we had more time to know one another before DD came to the scene. My wife is pure blood filipino and at times is extremely hardheaded and stubborn but Im also that way. Im an animal lover (dogs mostly) and bug/insect lover. Im also a gamer and somewhat of a handyman when it comes to random stuff breaking down.

We both work and her mother watches DD until she gets off at 5pm, home by 530pm. Me, I leave for work at 230pm, get home 1210am. She works for a credit union, I work in a railroad mechanical shop where theres no such thing as A/C during the months where it easily surpasses the upper 90s. We share a single day off together, Saturdays.

Apart from a few transgressions which I will not share in publically. We have worked through them at the behest of not talking to one another for a few days and then slowly working out way back to the way things were and into each others arms again. Though from time to time we have arguments, the one thing Ive noticed is when either of us have no grounds to argue upon, she relentlessly aggrivates it even more with bringing up past ordeals where as whatever wrongs she has done, Ive learn to let go and get on with life so that time could ultimately heal the emotional wounds.

This I cant understand. When an argument reaches no more support for its existance, I try to end it but she desperately tries to continue it even when it has merits. Ex: Friend asks if I can loan his wife 30$ and he would xfer the $ the following day, directly to my account at the CU where my wife works. My wife and his wife are big BFs since childhood. This was for a honkey tonk town event that my little shitstain town does every year and it attracts huge amounts of people to eat at the food booths and to do some good old fashioned line dancing.

My friend ended up not going because he came down with a wicked respiratory infection and stayed home sick. I figured if he didnt get the xfer done the next day due to this it was no big deal but my wife called me from work asking why the xfer hasnt posted yet and that I needed to call him right then to make him do it. I tried to tell her, out of respect I was going to give him a day to get better which this caused her to start raising her voice at me over the phone. One thing we agreed upon is I would try very hard to not raise my voice or get angry quickly (I have an issue with) and the other is we wouldnt never fight about money no matter how much the amount was. I firmly believe money brings out all the bad qualities in a person where as she believes it should be spent immediately upon getting it. Anyway, I cut the call off and texted her back " You can call me when you have calmed down, try again."

I then contacted my friend over text asking him to please call her at the CU as for some reason the money didnt post. After all of the drama, reason for no posting....it takes a few hours. Now if he xfered it after talking to her or what I do not know but after the whole thing was settled she starts sending me a wall of text messages about how I support a lying friend but dont support her and starts bringing up past ordeals again to which I just delete all of her messages and send her a single reply.

"Calm down, think and try again."

I dont understand, Im doing everthing I can to not get angry at her but she just keeps going. It doesnt matter whos right or wrong, all arguments always end in me having to say sorry to her or she doesnt sleep with me or doesnt let me have any lovin' on the only day off we share.

A few weeks ago, my car that Ive finally started working on again stalled out on me, standing me fifteen miles outside of town on a dirt road (dirt roads due to no registration on the car, not going to pay it until I know for sure the car is working good enough to re-register it) Shes at work, friends not home so I sat for an hour until a county utility man came along and had an extension with a 12mm socket and a socket wrench so I could uncouple the exhaust manifold and allow the engine to breathe again (which sucks because I have to wait for the stupid computer to cycle the valve time back to position for it to start again, stalled due to my initial suspension that the catalytic converter had collapsed, causing back pressure through the exhaust manifold, causing the valve timing to over advance because engine cant breathe which makes the computer go full stupid and throws the engine into brick-suddenly safe mode until the fault clears itself or is cleared by a OBD scanner)

The wall of angry text was so astonding, had text messages still cost money I would have had to sell my body on the street corner to foot the bill. lol j/k

I like to come here to vent at times and to me ot allows me to see how far ive come or how much ive come up short. I do know marriage has matured me in a way that single persons just dont understand, unless they were prevously hitched. I do believe, thats a good thing too.
