My girlfriend and I have been dating for 8 months now and we are very happy. We are loyal to each other and we never have problems except about one dude, X. So my girlfriend used to be in love with X for two years before we started dating and he was a total ass to her. For some sick reason she always defended him and kissed his ass no matter how evil he was to her. She claims to have moved on from him, but I just sense that she is still secretly in love with this dude. She still gets really excited when he talks to her and he fucks with her head a lot. Hell be mean to her and then flirt with her and just constantly do that. I respect her boundaries and her friendships so I never got in the way, but this weekend he came back into our lives. She has been away on vacation for about two weeks now and she comes back in a week. I miss her a lot and asked if we can hang out as soon as she gets back. She told me I'd have to wait until the next day because she had already planned to hang out with him. What should I do? Do you guys think she is in love with him?
