After a long session of just being honest with myself and trying to understand my failings in life I came up with 5 things that I need to work on or need advice on.

  1. How do I get others to invest in me? I often feel like I'm putting too much into other people without a return of any kind, and this causes me to not even try. Even after seemingly successful interactions with people they do not seek out more.

  2. Oft repeated advice says you should always make sure you are not the focus of conversation, but instead make it about the other person. However, when I apply this, the person seems uninterested, or, in a group setting, reacts to something someone else said and the conversation drops.

  3. How to achieve spontaneity? I have a friend who is the life of a party, is always doing something crazy. He's the embodiment of Law 6: Court Attention At All Cost. People love to be around him and will invite to any number of things because of this. How does one hone their spontaneity?

  4. The biggest thing that holds me back is my fear of failure. I have an intense fear of failing, and not just with women, but in most aspects of my life. I worry that one big failure will cost me all future opportunity. Like if I make a fool of myself socially, I've alienated myself permanently from that group, which prevents me from taking chances.

  5. Text Game. This one is far less weighty than the preceding questions, but it is something I could use help on. I know people that are so good at text game they can go from not knowing a person to being sent pictures that same night. I see a lot of untapped potential here, but I can't find any good resources on it that aren't the standard 'texting is for logistics' advice.
