There's two strains of though in TRP that seem at conflict with each other, and I'm hoping someone could clarify. TRP expects women to be submissive...

Yes they do.

This sub is specifically for the purpose of asking questions in the hope of convincing its subscribers. Beneath the subscribe button, it refers to the people here as "48 people swallowing the red pill right now"... as in you're expecting people who come here to be convinced.
You guys endlessly post "field reports" in the main sub, which are wholly about convincing people; to add grounds for the red pills claims. Funnily enough, you guys dismiss self-reported studies as bullshit because women lie and AWALT, yet you eat those field reports up.
You consistently post articles that "prove that person X was red pill", or that "such-and-such was beta", and so on. You're extremely persistent in fitting the whole world into your binary constructs.

So yes, the red pill does care. The red pill cares a lot, in fact: I would estimate that 90% of the content in that sub is the red pill attempting to legitimize its claims.

TRP teaches us not to expect anything from women, but instead helps shed some light on their mating strategies and motivations.

Isn't it more likely that any motivations discussed in the red pill are simply the red pill's own construction?

"Beta Bux" are men who women 'settle' for to gain relationship security. They are not necessarily the most attractive or valuable in her eyes, but as options dry up, they are often the best remaining choice for a relationship.

That's a very cynical (and naive) way of looking at things. Maybe the reason terpers can't form meaningful relationships is because neither cynicism nor naivette are attractive?

and we can reward good behaviors and punish negative behaviors to insure we get what we need out of the relationship.

So what you're saying is that you get into relationships because you can get something out of them? No wonder you're lonely... you're selfish and a parasite.

That would be a perfect relationship, sustainable only in perfect conditions with perfect people. Unfortunately we live in the real world, and in the real world, systems break down over time, people change and shit happens.

Can you be more specific? I've met people who are in healthy relationships; and I would consider myself to be in one right now.

In any case, I don't understand why the relationship that "works" is always the one that never ends. If I've managed to be with someone for whatever number of years, those years do not count for nothing just because circumstances changed and we split.

Unfortunately we live in the real world, and in the real world, systems break down over time, people change and shit happens.

I feel like you're missing the obvious here. The red pill is about dominance: alphas and betas, captains and first mates. "Red pill relationships", so to speak, produce a woman who is dependent on the man... because god forbid she ever make any decisions of her own, right?

This model just doesn't work anymore, and you're the one who's failing to adapt. Women can vote, get an education, have careers... they have agency now. The way we're socialized nowadays just isn't conducive to the relationship structure you want.

I think that down the line, you're just gonna get more and more cynical and sore as you see that people around you form meaningful relationships, not realizing that your obstacle is yourself. These absurd views that you espouse, while they make have some success in getting you laid on the short run, will drive other people away. Eventually you're going to get so cynical and and lonely view women as so inhuman that your only option is going to be to become an MGTOW.
