Hey all, been stuck at a mental crossroads for awhile now and thought I'd ask for some advice here. I will try to make this as brief as possible.

Basically, I was blessed with the opportunity to train for free at the top MMA gym in my area, caveat being that my deceased father used to train for the same gym and was teammates with all of the current coaches. They want me to "follow in his footsteps" by becoming a pro fighter, instructor, etc. While I do love grappling, this does not sound appealing to me at all. I simply want to focus on my career and get really fucking strong, with BJJ as a hobby. I don't want to continue to receive handouts from this gym because of the success of my father. Should I move on with my life, stick with it, find a new gym? Any input appreciated guys.

TLDR: Train at free gym with expectations from instructors, or say fuck it and body build?
