Hey guys,

I feel like my career needs a boost. I've had some questionable career choices in the past.

In a nutshell, I:

Graduated university in 2011 with a B.A. in Graphic Design. Had trouble finding work. Taught English in South Korea for a couple years. Came back home. Unemployed for six months. Worked as a contract technical writer for seven months in a "boring" city. Moved to NYC two months ago for a change of scenery.

I've had trouble finding work in IT/technical writing in the NYC area. I'm considering attending a developer bootcamp such as General Assembly to refine my skills and transition into a web development career. The tuition is $13,500 for three months, but the return of investment would be good. My dream is to go freelance, work out of my laptop, and live anywhere I want in the world.
