Sorry if this is a bit of a rant but theredpill is the only place online I feel like people have their shit together and don't give bs advice. So I'm a 22 year old transfer student. I got kicked out of greek life last year. Currently living alone and working towards a degree in computer science. Right now I think it'll take 2-3 years to finish up my degree. Wondering if I'm spending my time correctly? CS is the only degree I can imagine that isn't totally useless. Spending most of my free time lifting at the gym. I don't really mind being out of greek life, party scene isn't really my thing anymore, but I'm really struggling to find a social life. Thought about leaving school and learning a trade but I don't know if that'd really help my social life. I've heard making connections outside college only gets harder too. Really would just love any input on what to do. Things aren't super fun right now, but not complaining and just dealing with it seems like the smartest move in my head. Thoughts?
