We are more than half a year into unprecedented restrictions on our civil rights. Even more unreal, it is basically the same everywhere around the world. This has changed the fabric of our society.

Social interactions are basically banned. You are not supposed to talk to strangers, even stand at a physical distance from them. You are to wear a mask to show your support for this new and sick society. All the businesses that were involved in fun or social interactions will go bankrupt. Their place will be taken by big corporations, those that have enough money to weather this situation, or even profit from it.

In Germany we are already told that masks, and some of the measures will stay, even after a vaccine. The hygiene dictatorship is already looking at the flu and other sicknesses to justify prolonged measures. Wherever a small pocket of dissent comes up, usually Generation X'ers gathering in public places for drinks and to meet friends (which is what we do), arise calls for drastic punishment.

I think of this as being similar to the gym. It is not a social place. You go in there with your tunnel vision, go about your business and then leave. This has now been extended to all parts of society. We have indeed become China, were people are drones that only exist to work and do nothing else. Somehow working in the office is not a problem, but everything else is.

I am getting sick to the stomach when I see the consequences of this everyday. Maximum obedience, nobody to question authority. An utterly strange alliance of leftists and the government. The new SA, Blockwarts and struggle sessions, denouncing your neighbours for the crime of meeting other people.

Tinder and other apps are "the new normal" of socializing with strangers. But you know the dynamics of that thing.

How do you deal with this? Please don't come at me with MGTOW crap. I am not a social butterfly at all and I am feeling the effects of this every day. It seems to me that moving to Sweden, not exactly the most social country, the most affordable country or the country with the most pleasant weather, is the only way to truly resist this. (South Dakota for the US folks in here).

And I'm not saying "until this is over" because it won't be. I am putting money down that most countries will keep the restrictions through 2021, possibly for a much longer time.

Disclaimer: I have a solid job, work on my own Startup and have ample hobbies (some of which are iced until something changes), yet I still feel sick everyone I step in front of my door.
