Appropriate texting frequency with LTR?

Wow, havent talked with a LTR in a couple of days but still hitting it? That's the good life right there lol. I'm constantly ducking calls from my plates.

LTR's need a little comfort tossed their way.

Otherwise you're treating them like a plate, and plates break because they're not getting your time and attention.

Once a week? Not texting for days? Doesn’t sound like an LTR. Out of curiosity, and not saying you’re doing anything wrong, but why LTR her when you see and speak to her so infrequently?

I do my best to keep texting to a minimum. Same with phone calls and video chat. It's hard avoiding the impulse in the age of social media. But resist the temptation

I see her about 2-3 nights a week and hardly ever text. Aside from logistics, I’ll text her randomly maybe once a week, usually to make her laugh or to make her horny. If she texts me, and she usually does about twice a week, I’ll respond to it, obviously, but I’ll keep it short. In either case I don’t let it evolve into a conversation over text. That’s for face to face time only. There are days where we don’t interact at all, and it’s pretty common. Although 2 days in a row doesn’t happen very frequently.

We text every day. For us it's important. I text her first about 1 out of 5 times or less. It's not calculated it's just the dynamic of our relationship.

Not saying it has to be like this, but I think it's always nice that she tells me what she's done, what she thought, what she plans on doing or whatever. I do the same. We also say goodnight quite often, maintains the bond imo
