You are seeing a “highlight” of personalities on holidays. All those happy family members, couples start getting into arguments and fights after they get into their cars. Everyone wants to show off how happy they are, don’t believe it.

When I see my family, friends or even strangers having a good time during holidays with their SO, I feel a little bit empty inside. But then I remember all the shit I've been through with women and it's just not worth it. I save a lot of money by being single and spoil myself during holidays.

Holidays are super depressing, you're not imagining it. Not least because everyone is supposed to be so damn happy about it.

Don't get me wrong, I like christmas, but the "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" song playing in the mall makes me want to put a gun in my mouth. I mean not really, but that's the general feeling I get.

But you're not alone, especially with the young professional generation, a lot of people like going out to chill bars and hanging out together drinking and commiserating about it. Bet you could definitely meet a cool girl there that wants to "not be lonely" together, too.
